We had lunch at Typhoon Tilly’s today and the food was pretty good with some reasonably nutritious offerings. The service was fairly quick, even with a long line. The atmosphere is sort of like a shack on the beach but in a great way and fun. Good for a quick bite to eat.

The pineapple Dole Whip is definitely the perfect treat to cool down the heat in Typhoon Lagoon waterpark. I personally like the vanilla and pineapple swirl a lot better than just pineapple itself, because the vanilla makes the whole soft serve moreeee creamy! If it was just the pineapple flavour, I found it more “sorbet-like” and more sour.

I ordered a beer (the Goose Island IPA). When the CM went to fill it only air came out of the tap (the keg was probably empty). The CM took my cup to another tap that I could not see and filled my beer from there. When I got to my table and tasted it, I realized it was NOT the beer I ordered but probably one of the less expensive beers on the menu. I was unwilling to stand in line again to get it fixed, so I drank some of it and poured the rest out. I was disappointed that I didn’t receive what I ordered, but even more shocked by the subterfuge. Very un-Disney-like.
We were also misled by the menu, there was no indication that there were two styles of fried fish and were disappointed that we didn’t get the fish that we expected (based on seeing the fish in the land & sea combo). It’s puzzling that they would have two different styles of fish depending on whether you ordered the fish & chicken, or fish by itself.

They’ve got to work on their menu a bit. Don’t get me wrong, we don’t eat cheeseburgers or fries really, so I appreciate a menu that has different stuff on it. However, I’m not much of a seafood gal, so I struggled to find something on this menu for myself. In the end, I had the shrimp salad with the tropical vinaigrette and it was very good. The tropical vinaigrette is a special amazing thank you thank you. I wish I had the recipe. My nephew has the fish and chips and ate it all in about 10 seconds so I assume it was good. The cinnamon cocktail they had was weirdly good, too. Like a tropical fireball. Wish it were a bit stronger but enjoyed it overall

Disney has given up. Cutting costs has destroyed the magic. Each food line at Typhoon lagoon was an hour long, not nearly enough employees and the ones they had seemed clueless. They did laps serving noone. From placing my order to getting my food was at least a half hour. Everyone in line was frustrated. I’ve never seen anything like it at disney. The waterpark was crowded and cuts led to very long lines everywhere. Someone high up at disney should do a lap around the park and realize what a disaster it’s become

Quick service. Ordered and received food within about 5 minutes.
Shrimp lettuce wraps are A+!!! Very delicious and the price wasn’t. The guyser lemonade wasn’t bad but definitely full of sugar so the kids loved it lol.
Best of all is I used my Apple Watch to pay so I didn’t have to worry about going back to the lockers to grab my wallet.

Line may seem long but moves quickly. The food was hot and everyone enjoyed their meal. It’s better to have someone in your party start trying to find/save a table while you wait in line because there aren’t a ton but we had no trouble using this method
