Tyler’s Tacos officially opened Thursday, July 4, with people lined up to try the new food truck before getting their fix of fireworks and festivities.

Let me say they are open Friday to Sunday. So it’s a weekend MUST!
The food truck was clean and the menu is simple and authentic and tasty!
We had the chips and queso (so good! The salty chips with the cheese was AMAZING)
Street corn salad….EVERYONE MUST GET THIS!

My husband and I came through Petoskey while on a small getaway, and we were both seriously amazed with how good this place was. My husband couldn’t stop saying how good his brisket burrito was, my chicken quesadilla was amazing. 10/10 recommend, will definitely be visiting here again the next time we come to Petoskey!

Delicious tacos with a great view! We had the brisket and chicken street tacos and were not disappointed. Brisket was superb! So good, I forgot to get a picture of it. Fast service too.

Sorry I forgot to take picture of the tacos I ordered first before I gobbled it all down both chicken and brisket tacos was HEAVENLY made. Best street tacos I ever had in a long time, and I lived in Texas for over 5 years…..this is a hands down street tacos.
The meats is so tender and juicy and FRESH.
Toppings is just perfect and lovely.
Overall, I give Tyler’s tacos 10 out of 5 stars!!!! DELICIOUS!!!!

The food was really good. The meat was delicious and I loved the salsa, unfortunately they were out of rice when I went so I couldn’t try a bowl, but I had a street taco with chips and salsa. The red salsa was YUM!! Everything was fresh which I appreciate since so much stuff now is deep fried, pre- package crap. This place you could taste the freshness. I do think their street tacos were small for the price. It wouldn’t stop me from trying it again for something else.

Nice little stop for lunch after a roadtrip. Wish it was closer would like to try other food from there. Got a brisket bowl and it was great was a little brisk and windy but a great view from the tables there too. They also are fast with it had the orders quick

The staff were very friendly and helpful in making food selections. We had the Burrito Bowl with brisket and pineapple salsa along with a Burrito with the same selections. The burrito was pretty good. The brisket had a great smoked flavor but it should have been chopped finer instead of the larger chunks. There was very little pineapple salsa, and it didn’t have a lot of flavor – maybe because there just wasn’t enough of it. The Burrito Bowl had way too much plain white rice in the bottom. It was mostly stuck together in clumps and had no seasoning or flavor. There was definitely not enough brisket in either the bowl or burrito. As for the seating area, it’s just picnic tables out in the open – no shade or umbrellas. It was a warm day when we visited, so we were uncomfortably warm while eating. The chips and queso were pretty good. I wish I could have had a big plate of just the brisket with some BBQ sauce and a roll. There were a few other groups of people there, all eating tacos. Maybe we should have tried those instead.

Great food and very nice people. $15 for a brisket burrito bowl. Bit more bark on the brisket than I like but it was still very good. House hot red salsa had great flavor and decent heat, probably extreme heat for Michigan scale. I took it to go and ate it by the lake, perfect picnic! Oh, and wife liked the cheesy taquito.
