Local fixture serving up burgers, hot dogs & malts in laid-back surrounds with a patio.

this is a unique burger joint w great, old fashioned burgers…thick and tasty. they will prepare it any way you want, though there’s something just wrong w putting mayo on a burger. they have a nicely varied menu that includes some nice salads. the shakes are thick. i especially enjoy the peanut butter shake. most of the seating is under a big awning. the staff is very pleasant and quite attentive. we make a trip to PS whenever we are close to stop here.

Tyler’s is my favorite place to eat in the desert. The tuna sandwich is fantastic and the fries are addictive. You can’t go wrong with anything here. It is great for families and groups too but they do not take reservations. The service is always prompt and kind. They have a diverse menu so everyone can find something they like. I also love their iced tea. 10/10 no complaints ever.

The best diner in Palm springs for the money. It’s great for seniors as they are given discounts. Staff is ALWAYS friendly and it’s clean. I make it a point to have breakfast there at least 1 time per week. Go and try. I’ve eaten breakfast and lunch there and it’s always been good.

When you see a crowd standing outside a restaurant, you pretty much know “hmm bet it’s good”. Tyler’s is that kind of place.
Been here several times now in the past year, and although there’s always a wait, it’s usually under 20 minutes or so. Even though it’s covered up with tourists.
Lunch only at this all outdoor seating, sidewalk cafe vibe. Serving the usual suspects of burgers, sandwiches, soups and salads. Haven’t had anything on the menu I didn’t like, it’s all been good.
I find the fries exceptional, having a crispy crunch and cut a bit bigger than Micky Ds fries. Had a cauliflower and carrot soup one time that was very good.
Portions aren’t huge but plenty, and typically priced high. As is all of downtown Palm Springs.
Service has always been fast and friendly. Although the greeter person where you sign the list is a small man with a very loud yell. Calling out patrons names at the top of his lungs is annoying, over and over while you’re trying to dine al fresco in peace. Because of that I only cut one star for “atmosphere”.
Typically closed in the hot summer months.
Tyler’s is a great little spot for a very tasty lunch. Maybe break out your ear plugs if you’re seated next to the check in podium.

Classic burgers and fries, and good potato salad! The service is fantastic, and when the weather is nice the patio or the little streetside bistro tables are the place to be to enjoy a nice lunch and people watch.

Really expected so much more after hearing so many positive reviews of this place. Burger had absolutely no seasoning, and was very dry. Fries were good, but also very little seasoning. For $23 I expect so much more. Server was so sweet however, and the atmosphere inside was really nice.

Been passing this place for years and finally had an opportunity to check it out. This spot is adorable! Located in an old Greyhound Bus Depot. Option to sit inside or outside, we chose the small counter bar. Wonderful service, reasonably priced. The burgers were juicy, fresh, like homemade . Also ordered the Coleslaw…, SO GOOD! Fries also a great choice. We grabbed a couple of fresh squeezed lemonade and it was perfect. Nothing fancy. This is a total Mom and Pop place and we’re coming back.

This is one of the best downtown Palm Springs burger stops!
They have amazing burgers, sandwiches, salads , soups, potato salad, slaw, fries, and milkshakes.
It is pretty much always busy, as it is hugely popular with both locals and visitors, so expect to wait a bit during the popular lunch and dinner times for a table. Service can also be a little slower during the really busy rush times.
Prices are very reasonable, too.

The staff was really nice and the restaurant was tucked away in a peaceful area. But also accessible to the shops. I usually don’t care that they call me Stephen cause I tried to get in and out. Even if it’s a 20min wait I dont mind but what I don’t appreciate is waiting 5 minutes before they even acknowledge me, acknowledge other people before they acknowledge me, try to take other people’s orders before they acknowledge that I was in line first, then, telling me they’ll come out and get me and her not coming and getting me. So I wait by the door for 20min with nothing so I get concerned and go inside to find my burger off To the side cold. This was weird because the server was asking other people for their phone number so that she could contact them when their food was ready, she didn’t ask me for my phone number, nor did she come out and get me like she said she was going to. What she did do is make an excuse saying, she called out my name, Which is wrong as I’ve stated David multiple times.
The food good but honestly, very laxadaisical, and not even close to mids when it comes to the service. It’s pretty regular here in Palm Springs when you get a good product, the staff and the business check out. Whether they’re overwhelmed or they just don’t care it shows.
It’s like they think because they have a good product they don’t have to care as much or something.
One thing I can be grateful for is that tyler’s gave me such an experience that I’ll make my own burgers from home now
