When me and my lady walked into the establishment with our son, he was automatically buzzing from the atmosphere of this place! The waiters sat us down and withing a few minutes we had menues and drinks. There were probably 20 patrons being managed by 3 people. 2 waiters and 1 cook. We ordered our food, I got the ham and cheese omelet and my lady got the combination omelet. For about 40 minutes we watched the cook bust out orders like a champ by himself and played the various little peg board games they had around. The vibe was very homely and the food was DELICIOUS! Huge portions for the price!

Small breakfast/lunch place. Doesn’t look like much, but the food totally exceeded my expectations. Sat at the counter for a leisurely breakfast and watched owner chefs. Skyler and Josh prepare scratch made meals for singles and groups rotating through the four or five tables and half dozen counter seats. Everything was made to order and it all looked amazing almost every patron made comments praising their meal as they left. I travel every other week so eat out a lot. Highly recommend TDC.

What a great local business to support. Joshua and his wife are an amazing team.

Great service, cozy old school atmosphere, happy laughing locals, good vibes, good conversation and better food.

Try the breakfast burrito and tell them Joshua with a grateful heart and super full stomach sent you! Have a blast and be filled with their energy and comforting atmosphere and delectable food.

I can’t wait to go back!

This restaurant was such a delightful surprise! My husband and I went on a Saturday morning and had a delicious meal! The staff was friendly and welcoming. The meals were sooo good! We both had a version of their sausage gravy. The best part was the pancakes on the side! Spectacular!!

We never came here when it was Rita’s. That’s a shame.
Walking in, I can see why I didn’t. It is very small. You can notice in the pictures that it’s quaint but small. Only 4 booths and 1 table, which was under the mini-split system. You can sit at the bar, though 5 bar stools are open. I did suggest that they redirect the air so that it didn’t blow on that table. The cook said that they were going to take care of that soon.
It’s a family owned and operated restaurant.
They get busy and backed up quickly. From the time we walked in; to the time we started eating, count on at least a 45-60 min wait when they’re busy. Also, do order your food with the server right after you walk in so that it’s already in the queue.
The ambiance is very home feeling. They have only been open for 2 years, so they are still building themselves.
Once the food was received, the food was outstanding. I had a sausage patty with my plate that was absolutely incredible. The food made the wait worth it.
Do support this small business.

It was $30 for two breakfast burritos that were not good unfortunately. Literally dripping and gushing oil. Really wish there had like at least had salt and pepper or some kind of seasoning on them. Won’t be coming back.

My husband and I have been coming here before the new owners took over when it was Rita’s and we loved it then. Under the new ownership and new name “Tye dye cafe” we love it even more. So awesome seeing a young couple working together and rocking their dream of owning this cafe. Not sure of his name but the man who cooks the food is excellent at what he does and we always leave impressed. They make their biscuits and gravy from scratch, and we think they are the best in town! SO good! One thing I might add and not in a negative light in any way, is that it is really small and they seem busier than ever. We love coming here for the small town feel atmosphere and usually come when we don’t have any where to be so we don’t mind a little bit of a wait for our food(well worth it I might add). So if they are slammed like they were this morning, go there with that mindset and be patient, enjoy your coffee, and be happy that you’re supporting what seem like awesome people! ☺️

10/10. Will eat here again!

The B.L.A.S.T. was in another level. Bacon was a perfect blend of crunchy and juicy, fresh thick cut tomatoes, and lots of avocado. I refused to share!

The servers were kind and friendly. The service was fast but not rushed. Every seat was full and the patrons kept rolling in. Will DEFINITELY send friends!

Price was $15-20 plate, very reasonable for the quality and serving size.
