One of the best meals I’ve had in a while! We had the croquetas with bellota, perfectly cooked octopus, sobresada (chorizo spread on bread), flank steak, roasted pork, piquillo peppers and fries…. The croquetas were so rich and complex. The sobresada was prepared tableside and drizzled with honey. The basque cheesecake was a religious experience. Delicious cocktails and outstanding wine list. Excellent service. David I was so knowledgeable, kind and made our dinner so enjoyable.

I came here for lunch and me and my friend got the lunch special. We tried one option of each, there was a fish and a steak, and there were two kinds of appetizers. Everything was incredibly delicious, I highly recommend the steak it comes with a delicious sauce on it and for dessert we got the Basque cheesecake. The drink seems similar to what they have in the rest of Little Spain, the margarita has a head of foam which is super cute and I tried a gin mule, which was delicious.
The weight staff was incredibly helpful and very friendly, they gave us a recommendations and options to try and also helped us to try everything on the lunch special menu. I will say the space has about 30 tables most of them for 2 to 4 people. We came at lunchtime, and there was only one other table eating with us, so there’s a lot of room and they will see you immediately, but this was in the dead of winter. And on a weekday. I would probably recommend that you make a reservation if you’re going to come in the evening because the prices are good for the area and the restaurant.

Loved the food. We ordered the tuna skewers, basque salad, steak and cheesecake. The weren’t any misses. Loved them all. Cooking the steak with charcoal instead of gas elevated the taste and added a desirable smokiness and char. I will come back for the lamb. Andreu was great with his recommendations.

Txula is a new steakhouse located within Jose Andres Little Spain, there is a direct entrance on 30th Street.
The atmosphere is retro and intimate (only 25ish tables).
Service was fantastic, you could tell everyone was excited and passionate about Txula and its offerings.
You will leave full, but I recommend ordering several dishes, such as the IBERICO pork with the Pan Con Tomate, the croquetas and the Red Shrimp.
All of the mains looked fantastic, we opted for the cheeseburger (amazing) and the NY Strip.
The Basque Cheesecake and Chocolate Cake were excellent and also paired well together.
Worth a visit.

The food here is absolutely fabulous and delicious—I give it 5 stars! The staff are wonderful, very attentive, and genuinely caring with every detail of service and interaction. They are also very knowledgeable about the menu that’s a A+
Beginning had bread with Jose Andre’s olive oil. I had the most outstanding ️ lamb ribs, perfectly seasoned and cooked to absolute perfection. The smashed potatoes were well-seasoned, flavorful, and delightful. I also loved the simplicity of the salad , complemented by a very tasty dressing.
To top of the night with delicious slice of Chocolate Cake and vanilla Ice cream.
Can’t wait to come again to out more of the menu.

I came here for the first time and had an amazing experience! The food was absolutely delicious and the service was top-notch. Our server, David, was fantastic his recommendations for food and drinks paired perfectly and really elevated the meal. My favorite dish was the tuna, bursting with bold flavors and complemented by the unique touch of liquid olives. I also tried bone marrow for the first time and was blown away by how much I loved it. Everything exceeded my expectations, and I can’t wait to come back!

The people, the vibe, the starters were incredible!
Will be completely honest about the main “big one” – the suckling pig was a let down. Instead of the super crispy skin we got comparable to a ham steak in a soup juice with a lot of liquid which seemed to change the crust skin into a gelatinous soft mouth feel. The skin not being crunchy and the fat not rendered as well made it feel like we were having.
Other than that- everything else was impeccable and the basque cheesecake was the perfect end with a perfect dessert wine pairing

Love Jose Andres and in his Little Spain gem is the newest restaurant : TXULA Steak. The meal was delicious and memorable. For our party of eight, our server, David was fantastic, knowledgeable, accommodating, very kind and friendly and generous. The whole meal and desserts were out of this world. We ate at Gallagher’s Steak House and this surpassed it by a million percent! If I lived here, this would be a regular haunt. Come see them!!

From the oyster Gilda to the clam and then the highlight NY strip, everything is well seasoned and balanced. Basque cheesecake is not to be missed. Our server David was so attentive and explained everything, including the history and the story behind the dishes. Truly a phenomenal experience.
