I was visiting TX and saw this Asian fusion seafood restaurant on my way home to LA. The parking lot was large. It could hold many cars, RVs, or trailers. We didn’t make a reservation to dine tonight. Thankfully it was not a busy night, and we were seated immediately. I just really wanted to eat some fresh seafood.

So, hands down, it is an amazing place to get crawfish. They are doing a special where you get 5 pounds for $30. I ate every bit of mine. My only issue was that they took forever to seat us. It’s just hard to keep a 3 year old entertained when there is no seating while waiting. When we were seated, food came out within 45 minutes of us ordering it. Had to keep asking the waitress for refills when we were clearly empty and even taking it to the drink station. They did look understaffed and busy, so it is what it is. This is just my honest review of the place. I’ll still go back and order. I just will make it for takeout.

Gosh the service was the best I’ve had in so long, our waiter I forgot to ask for his name but he had curly blond hair. He was so kind and so friendly. He was so observant, quick, and funny. The food was good and the atmosphere is cozy. Definitely would recommend.

Yesterday was the first time I was there, and while I was there the service was horrible. The food was ok, but after waiting for 20 minutes to get our drinks ordered and then another hour and a half just to get our food ordered, I think it’s understandable how dissatisfied I was. On top of that when we had finished our drinks we had to hunt down our server and beg for a refill. Not once has our server checked up on us, which explains the hour and a half wait. They need to work on there hospitality service before I set foot there again. If you don’t mind waiting two and a half plus hours to just order your food and to be repeatedly avoided by your server for “ok” food, then I definitely recommend this place.

Our waitress told us she was new but you wouldn’t have been able to tell she did a fantastic job and was very friendly. Loved the seasoning on the crab and shrimp. My son said his blackened chicken sandwich was delicious.. the pickles, cheesy hushpuppies, and calamari were just ok. I think the shrimp were way overcooked because they were very difficult to peel and the 5 mushrooms we paid extra for were tiny.

We were done for a cruise and we’re told at our hotel that this place was good. Huge understatement! Absolutely fantastic! The manager was on point! Justin I believe was his name. Not a “high class” joint, but prices reflect that! For a person whom was in the service industry for years, this was one of the best bangs for the buck I have ever had! Absolutely fantastic!

Try everything before you add salt. The Boudain balls were tasty. I had the spicy stir fried rice with chicken and sausage. Not bad. When you arrive on mother’s day and you are the first customers after the business had been open for 30 minutes might be alarming for some.

The was tasty, but I also ordered crawfish, which the waitress failed to order. I sat there for about 40 minutes before leaving. She never returned to check on us until I informed someone else that we needed the check. I’d rate the service a -0!

The food may be good but we didn’t give it a shot… outside is a misconception to the inside. It looked large a spacey and was a tiny hole in the wall. Dirty and we walked right out!
