Probably no one comes here specifically for traditional desserts like sago gula Melaka… but well, this is me. I order what I feel like, and this is how I felt.
I really enjoyed the cozy atmosphere here. Yes, this is Pavilion KL, but the vibe was just right, calm and comfortable without feeling too rushed.
Dessert-wise, everything was pretty decent. I tried a few items including sago gula Melaka, tiramisu, and a Belgian waffle. The waffle surprised me in a good way. The toppings were generous, with sundae and maple syrup even though the light whipped cream was already on top. It did take a while to arrive, but it was satisfying once served. The desserts overall may not be mind-blowing, but they did their job well.
For drinks, we ordered a mojito and a detox juice. Both tasted very “healthy”, the no-sugar-added kind of healthy LOL.
One small thing I’d like to point out. The plastic straws felt a bit odd. The tips looked uneven and slightly sharp on the lips. I double-checked with the staff and they mentioned the straws were not cut, so it might be a supplier issue. Just a heads-up for those who are concerned, you can ask for a paper straw instead.

Ordered fries and they served this bowl of sadness. Cold fries, didn’t even come with condiments. Waited 30 minutes for the ceaser chicken salad which never arrived by the way. How hard is it to make a salad, the place wasn’t busy because of Ramadan so what is their excuse?
I went here because I had pleasant experience at their branch in Publika, never expected this is their service at Pavilion. One of the most busiest malls in Malaysia. My whole day is ruined because of this.

We order Buttercream Chili Clam 900gr & Nasi Daging Lemak Salai.
Clams are abundat, can be eated for 3 person. The sauce is creamy & spiciy, very tasty & addictive as well. Paired very well with the mantao or garlic bread. The sauce sipped very well to the bread.
Lemak Salai also very tasty, its creamy and a little bit spicy. Portion is also big.
Drinks we order Lemonade Pinapple. Very refreshing, esp to wash out all the creaminess from Clam sauce.

Tried their lamb shank after reading good reviews. But for my taste is very average. The meat soft as many reviews mentioned. But the flavor does not go through its thick meat, only at the surface. Portion big though, perfect if you skip breakfast and lunch . Serving time is long, around 30 minutes although not during peak hours.

Very poor service especially from the ladies. Ask for the mussel we order 1hr ago. She didn’t even bother to come back to tell us the situation. I had to asked another guy again. But to no avail. Food still not here yet even though we already finished all other food. Never come back again. For those who think of coming better think twice especially if you came in empty stomach.

Interior higher class. The butter chili mussel was nicely done. Creamy with a bit spicy. The mussel juicy and fresh even though small. Very additive especially when dipping garlic bread into the sauce. We ordered a second bowl of garlic bread for the balance sauces. Not sure whether understaff. We saw the kitchen had prepared the bread on the counter but it was left there waiting for staff to send over to our table for quite a while. The pizza was hot and thin crust. Even though it not flufy like the fast food pizza but it is still decent. Milk shake normal. Price slightly higher but food was good. Will come back try others on the menu.

Overall experience can be improved.
1) Atmospheres here is good
2) Services can be improved as when I reach,I need wait for couples minutes to be seated as during that time only 1 tables & non peak season.
3) Food overall is good except Escargot as I can’t taste any escargot.Mussel & clam taste is very good & highly recommend but portion wise is quite small portion.
