Very nice hotel on the edge of town. Step outside and your on the river. Definitely not your chain hotel service. Very friendly staff, will help whenever possible. They also offer a shuttle service for a small fee.

We went here tonite for our Christmas Eve dinner. The place is nice and rustic. The wait staff is very nice and sweet. Our experience was horrible though. The owner who was also doing the cooking could not stay in the kitchen long enough to cook. John was throwing the beers back at the bar and yelling at whoever was with him in the kitchen. It took forever to get our appetizer of stuffed mushrooms. They lacked flavor. The prime rib was over cooked and bland. The halibut tasted like it was frozen. I felt like I was on an episode of bar rescue before the make over. The bourbon menu was outdated and they did not have any of the bourbon they had listed. Was absolutely not worth the $130 we spent for our meal.

Nice drive out of town. Food was pricey and I have had better. Service was terrific!

The food and service was great. Was a very busy night due to the start of the Yukon Quest. The only down side was the indoor temp of the restaurant. Has to be in the 50s and they ran out of pellets for the pellet stove. We ate our prime rib with coats on. Menu is perfect, everything for burgers to steak. What you should expect for prices 30 minutes north of Fairbanks.

This was our first time here after living 20 miles down the road for two years. I’m not going to say that it’s my new favorite fairbanks restaurant (but it may be).

Honestly, this is the best combination of fine dining and local atmosphere you can get. Locally owned. Family and friend operated. Steaks, seafood, pasta, salads, pizza’s, desserts and extensive selections of wine and beers. And they still fit in live music on the weekends!

Absolutely love dinner here. Their pepper crusted ribeye was delicious and the fried halibut was amazing as well. Wine list was a little weak. After dinner entertainment in their bar was okay as well.

Our waitress was fine. Too bad she had to serve such nasty food. Our table was sticky and only half cleaned. The crab and lobster stuffed mushrooms was the best part of the meal though undersized for the money. I ordered the all you can eat ribs. They obviously had been cooked days before and reheated to a dry and chewy consistency. Needless to say I didn’t ask for a second helping. My wife ordered the chicken marsala. She found it decent but not exceptional considering the cost. The bread served with the meal was at least 3 to 4 days old, very stale and dry. We will not be returning unless the management makes some significant changes and does a lot of cleaning up.
