Where do you go when you can’t decide between pancakes or a sandwich? Two Niner Diner, where they’ve solved that dilemma with their legendary pancake sandwich!!!
I bit in, and it was like brunch heaven – a perfect balance of sweet and savory that cleared my mind of any culinary conflicts. And let’s talk about the service – Dave and his wife run this place with warmth and charm that makes you feel like family. If I could give this place 6 out of 5 stars, I would… oh wait, I just did. Highly recommend landing here – even if you’re not in a plane!

29er Diner is back open! Indoor and outdoor seating with real diner feel inside and views of the planes taking off outside. Food was delicious and had many great options. Service was outstanding even when they were very busy. Can’t wait to eat here again and try more menu options. Plenty of parking right next to the restaurant and so easy to get to in Petaluma.

Great first experience this morning. Chicken fried steak was outstanding—great breading, not too heavy, and I could actually taste the steak. The potatos were delish, and the poached eggs were properly poached. The biscuits are really good.
Solid diner. Plus there’s planes everywhere inside and out.

This is a hidden gem ! The food was fresh and made to order . Great coffee ☕️. And if you want to seat yourself at the airport benches afterward and view up close take off and landing of the small giro and fixed planes ! We met an older guy and talked for an hour, learning the life of a piot.

Contrary to popular belief, I didn’t enjoy my meal. Sometimes, the best way to see how good food can be at a restaurant is to order a basic dish; my steak was overcooked and my eggs were just eggs. The best part about this diner is that it’s pilot-friendly. Pretty easy to bring a friend for a great airport diner experience but not for the food.

Such a unique small diner by the airport. Really loved it! Pancakes and scrambled eggs are some of their best breakfast choices. Sadly for a diner the coffee was not all that great but other than the the staff and the feeling of this resultant was fantastic. Hope to come back here again soon. 🙂

As authentic as a diner can be. Piping hot homemade coffee cake and breakfast all day. Server was super nice and the decor brings you back to another era!!!! Not easy to find but a treasure all the same. Worth the trek.

Loved the location of this diner. I was staying in Petaluma at a friend’s house and she was walking distance to this small airport with a diner. Very cool view while having breakfast, beautiful place to visit.

This is a good ol’ breakfast diner! Small town airport aviation history and models all over make it one of the most interesting places I visited during my stay near the city. It’s a family owned diner handed down at least three generations. Wear some jeans and ask about the old school soda fountain. Don’t look for cuisine, but enjoy a delicious American breakfast.

The food is okay, and the service is perhaps on the laid back side, but this place more than makes up for it for the airplane enthusiasts. You can watch the planes take off and enjoy the themed decor.
They also have a great kids meal that has appropriate kid portions and variety on the plate so that something is bound to appeal to your kid.
