The pizzas are on the larger side. They tasted really good, the toppings were fresh and it was a generous portion.
I’d order here again if I am in the area.
I recommend Me-n-Ed’s pizza in nipomo, they saved the day!! Just 6 miles away, I ordered a triple play pepperoni pizza there for HALF the cost ($14.99), more toppings, ready in 15mins, and it was DELICIOUS!
Long version:
So sad because I just moved to the area and had really high hopes for this place. My first visit here, I was greeted by one of the owners/manager and his children. Super friendly and loved that the dad was making pizzas in the back while the little kiddos running around. I made great conversation and told him I was just moved here and loved pizza lol. I was excited to make this my regular joint. Pizza was pricey, but good. (You could get 2 fattys pizzas for the price of this one).
My second visit I called in to order. I was very friendly ans happy to speak to this “family” again. The gentleman on the phone was SO rude – no exaggeration, I mean he was so cut and dry, I could FEEL the attitude through the phone and he basically was like “what do you want” and even hung up before I finished my sentence saying “thank you”. Gave no price or estimated time of when it would be ready. Just “ok bye”. I wish I could have recorded it! I was almost sorry I even bothered him.
Giving the benefit of the doubt (maybe it was someone else who having a bad day?), I waited about 30 mins before going in to pick up – first visit it only took about 20mins. When I arrived, there was completely different people, a whole new crew. A young woman at the cashier counter, a gentleman (late 20’s) next to her doing phones, another man boxing, another in the back making pizzas, and the same owner/manager who looked like he was training someone else on pizzas. He was the only familiar face. My first thought was maybe since it is a Friday evening they’re busier, therefore he has more employees working. My pizza was not ready and was told another hour.
I happened to have company over for a housewarming, and was raving about this new pizza joint. And how I loved that it seemed like a mom&pop restaurant and want to support locally. So everyone is waiting for this amazing pizza!
Anyway, when I go back to get the pizza, the young woman hands it to me and sends me off (not very friendly either, compared to my first visit where it was very friendly & personable). When I get home, mind you I live walking distance, I’m mortified at the pizza in this box. I kid you not – THE ENTIRE XL PIZZA WAS EMPTY. That’s right. There was only one slice of pizza that had toppings on it including cheese. The rest of it was just bread crust, and half of it was A HOLE. I cannot emphasize enough how there is no exaggeration!!! You know when you have a thin spot of dough, and while it’s baking it makes an air bubble and pops? Thats what looks like happened to this pizza. That was on half, the other slices were bare with absolutely nothing, and 1slice that survived and look like a pizza. ONE.
I could not believe that I paid $30, waited almost 2hours, and had horrible customer service AND still didn’t have a pizza to feed my guests. I cannot fathom how this even got pulled it of the oven, examined, still put in a box, and STILL GIVEN TO THE CUSTOMER??? Wow.
I will never buy a pizza from here again.
I recommend Me-n-Ed’s pizza in nipomo, they saved the day!! Just 6 miles away, I order a pizza there for HALF the cost ($14.99), more toppings, ready in 15mins, and it was DELICIOUS! My guests all agreed that we should have done this in the first place, and that Two Guys Pizza was a bust.
I don’t imagine they’d care to do anything to make this right, but I hope this info helps my fellow neighbors.
