We had a party of 8 and none of us had been there before. It seems to be more of a bar with some interesting food choices. Most of us had fish and chips which was very good. One had a James cheeseburger which tasted good and one had fish tacos with a tomatillo sauce. The staff was very nice and attentive to our needs.

Really more like a 2.5 really. Weird vibe, questionable kitchen practices, were out of many menu items. We went for the lamb fries…no freaking lamb. Little bit expensive for what it was. Dogs were good but rather over the top portion and toppings wise.

Honestly My family and I of 5 members enjoyed a great dinner for a $140 which included 2 alcoholic beverages that were full of flavor delicious. I recommend the jalapeno Margarita bloody Orange for sure the Thai chicken fries the serrano fries. The Burger was excellent light and delicious and great size and the duck tacos were awesome. I can’t wait till the next time I have them. The chicken tacos were grilled and my daughter enjoyed them. The ahituna was really delicious. Well served portions totally satisfied the service was Phenomenal went Home 2 hours later. Still talking about it not to mention the atmosphere and the outside alley is a great photo op parking is convenient adjacent to the alley. Across the streit was free on a Saturday night. Typically 1st 2 hours or free than a dollar for each additional hour but did not see a crossbar. Don’t know how they do? It was an awesome experience next time with more time. This is both exactly what I had hoped for and better than I had expected. It’s a small gastropub in an alley in downtown Bakersfield, and my experience with those is that some are incredible and the others are so-so. This one falls into the incredible category; good, solid food and an interesting beer selection.

I ordered the fish and chips via Uber. I expected the fries and fish to be soggy so my air fryer was ready to remedy the situation, which it did. The fish was in good portions and at $13, I thought it was a good deal. If you do order anything fried I would recommend you ask them the poke holes in the. Styrofoam containers or else you will end up with soggy fries and fish. If the owner is reading this, I hope you start ventilating your to go containers so that the moisture can escape and keep the food A+

First time visit. Cool interior with exposed brick, comfy chairs and nice tables, cozy bar. Ordered duck carnitas tacos and fish and chips. Tacos were good. Fish and chips were terrible. Fries were drowning in salt. Fish was stringy and seemed way past the sell by and use by dates. Both the wife and I were sick from the fish.

Cozy place, but waited a bit for the one bartender to take our drink order. She was a bit snappy when I asked what beers she had. We were going somewhere else for dinner, but had I wanted food, I probably would not have ordered it as I saw the food being prepared by someone without gloves. Don’t think I’ll be returning here, unfortunately.

Had a great salad at this cute eatery in Downtown Bakersfield. She had the Lamb salad, while I opted for the Tri tip one. Really excellent both. Server was accomadating and friendly! Prices about what you would expect, but the quality make it great value. We will be back!
