HANDS DOWN MY FAVORITE LOCAL RESTAURANT. Ive been dining here since I moved into town and the ownership treats my friends and I like family. The staff is ALWAYS nice and they have the largest portion sizes out of all of the local sit ins. I love their breakfast skillets. I would eat them just about everyday if i could. Its not the prettiest place in town but Ive never left there in a bad mood.

Just visiting town, my wife and I ordered two steak and eggs breakfasts. Hers came out medium and was delicious, mine was rare, and severely undercooked. No big deal, I just tell the waitress nicely, a pretty Latina girl, and really shy, pictured cleaning our table. Instead of informing anyone, I watch her take my steak to the trash and that’s the last thing that happens until we get our bill, which includes two steak and eggs breakfasts. Apparently she’s trying to cover up for the cook, they look related. I don’t throw fits, I don’t let myself get angry, and I don’t make other people feel bad. When I tell you that my steak is too rare for consumption, it’s on you to look for ways to fix the problem, especially when it is clear that the steak is in fact too rare for anyone without K9 enzymes in their stomach (regretfully I didn’t get any pictures as it was removed as soon as I mentioned it). I’m not going to fight for fair treatment, I expect to just be repaid kindness for kindness. These reviews are my only course of action. That being said, the prices at Two Eagles are unbeatable. Loads to choose from on the menu. I’d recommend it to anyone, but I’d still leave a bad review so that the major flaw of customer service could be address through better training.

Best sit down restaurant in Freeport. I’ve been eating here my whole life and never had a bad experience. The prices are low and the plates are huge. My favorites are the breakfast items but the dinner items are amazing too. Whether going for coffee and toast or with the family for a huge order the servers are friendly, attentive and the food comes out fast….I my have to visit today after leaving this review….

Love this little place! Your typical hometown greasy spoon(although the food is not) home cooked meals at it’s greatest! Friday night fish fry, always daily special and wonderful cakes and pies available for desert. They have a salad bar for dinner specials that is freshly supplied with salad, and sides. The prices cannot be beat anywhere in town and always too much food. Check it out sometime. You won’t be disappointed.

Very convenient to downtown. Plenty of parking. The food is GREAT and more than plentiful. When you order two eggs you receive four. Wait staff, Jan in particular is very personable, pleasant. Suggest Two Eagles for all meals but, especially breakfast.

Great breakfast. Very cheap. Can’t pass it up. Nothing fancy or super high-quality or anything. But you can get a breakfast skillet for $6. way more food and better than what you’d get at McDonald’s for the same price.

Great breakfast or lunch spot. We go here often when we want a good brunch. The double the egg on your order. You don’t leave hungry. Definately one of the best small town breakfast spots in town.

This is a great old school type diner. They are super affordable and you WILL be full when you leave. They serve breakfast, lunch and dinner. They have a good little salad bar selection and some desserts. We frequently go for breakfast and sometimes on Friday for their all you can eat fish, which is truly great and huge! We have gone here for years with our family and we have gotten to know the friendly staff. Sometimes they don’t have many dessert options, but who knows if you will even have the room for it. They keep your coffee coming!

I and my friends will NEVER return to this place. I ordered a ham and cheese club, the waitress mumbled something so I thought she had taken my order. NOPE, she brought a turkey and bacon club, I told her that’s not what I ordered, i asked her to take it back and bring me what I ordered, al she said was”this one has bacon on it” and walked away. It wasn’t crowded at lunch time. THE.worst service EVER!The customer is right doesn’t apply to this establishment.
