If you find yourself passing by this part of beautiful Montana as well as this landmark don’t hesitate to stop in for an ice cold drink and great burger.
Traveled to Harlowton for work for a few days
and with the limited food selection there, and frozen food served in both bars, I made the trip to two dot. I was relieved to hear the owner Jennifer tell me they butcher local beef and cook fresh burger meat for those quenching their thirst or looking to put some food in before moving down the road or heading home. I went for a bacon cheddar cheese burger and glad I did. This place is worth a stop and even if a little bit out of your way.
The place is good enough for Hank Williams Jr. to write a song about – does my review even matter. Get yourself over to Two Dot!

Great food and prices. My little girls ate less than half of a grilled cheese between them (they are huge). Husband and I each had a great local beef fresh pattie burger. Fries are delicious. Definitely worth a trip out to 2Dot.

Amazing bar owned by amazing people…. Just can’t say enough about Two Dot Bar. The local meat is avail as sirloin, ribeye or burger. It tastes like beef should taste – and comes with great sides (fries, salad, sautéed onion). Beer is cold and varied (esp. for a small town place). Patty and Jen are a mom-daughter duo beyond belief. If you are on Rte 12, turn into Two Dot and grab a cold beer and bite to eat. You won’t be disappointed.

We were driving through Two Dot and had read online that the burgers were good, so we planned a stop for lunch. The menu is basically burgers and fries or grilled cheese. The fries tasted like they had been cut there, not frozen, and the burger was great. The toasted bun was the perfect extra touch. I would stop again if in the area.

The Two Dot Bar just catered one of my most favorite meals ever. Smoked beef brisket, baked beans, and macaroni and cheese. Each one was by far the best I’ve ever eaten of it’s kind. They have a huge local reputation for great food.

We thoroughly enjoyed our experience at Two Dot. The owner, Jennifer, was amazing and our meal was cooked to perfection. Beef was locally provided by local Glennie Ranch. Atmosphere was also great. Must visit, have a beer, and listen to the local stories.
