Stopped at this local ice cream shop for dessert on our travels from Oregon. We are so happy to have found this local hot spot. It was hopping with people. Treats were delicious and we had to get a sticker and t-shirt to commemorate. Rose was especially friendly and helpful. I wasn’t brave enough to try the jalepeno cilantro ice cream, maybe next time!
If only I lived closer, I would totally apply for a side hustle! The help wanted sign is Epic!

We went here multiple times during our stay in Hot Springs. Their bison burger is to die for. It’s so good. Everything here is made from scratch and they say they even prioritize healthy eating. The bison meat comes from local farmers. We got ice cream too and we really liked it. We got the mint ice cream, maple pecan, and white chocolate raspberry. They are all very good and have better ingredients than most places. The milk comes from local farmers too. Highly recommend this place!

If you find yourself in Hot Springs, this place is an absolute must-visit! It is a true hidden gem. We stopped by for a quick bite and were blown away by the cozy, welcoming atmosphere and the top-notch service. The staff makes you feel right at home from the moment you walk in. As for the food, the bistro definitely lives up to the hype the ice cream is heavenly and incredibly rich in flavor. Its downtown location is super convenient and easy to find. I highly recommend stopping by for some great vibes and the best treats in town. It’s definitely worth every penny!

Everything here is farm to table. This may make it sound expensive, but the prices are more than reasonable. The burger was rich and juicy, full of flavor. I added some caramelized onions, jalapeños, and pickles and it was the best burger I’ve had at a restaurant in years. The fries were crispy and they give you as many as you like. The wife enjoyed her grilled cheese with parmesian fries. Friendly staff and ice cream that looks amazing. Glad we stopped here.

Upon a recent visit to Wind Cave Nat’l Park and in search of a hearty meal we stumbled upon this gem on one of the quietest downtown streets in America. Burgers are delicious and the wait time was minimal. There’s plenty of seating outside and inside. They even have glass bottled soda! Why I think that’s neat I’ll never know. Solo travelers, family travelers, or couples must visit this spot for lunch or dinner and if nothing else stop in for ice cream to go and watch the sunset from out front.

Found this local ice cream shop while we were here during 2024 Sturgis Bike Week. There was much road construction going on, so the street parking was at a premium. There is a public park with parking within walking distance across the street, so that can be an option.
We only stopped for ice cream, but the sandwiches looked delicious. The garlic fries seem to be popular in South Dakota as I have seen versions of it at other establishments.
We decided to get the 6 flavor ice cream flight. Cost almost $10, but we each picked 3 flavors and then tasted all 6. The ice cream tasted even better because they provided wooden spoons! Just like we remember as kids. Many flavors to choose from. The container was even compostable, which is great for the environment.
They also had local frozen meat and gifts for purchase.
Would definitely visit again if in the area. Great to support local!

I was at the Hot Air Balloon Festival this weekend when I heard someone talking loudly about Two Cows’ hand-cut fries and how good they are. I decided to be the judge of that, and let me tell you, they passed my test. The patty melt was also phenomenal, ooey gooey in all the best ways. Finally, you can’t go wrong with homemade ice cream ever, and the ice cream here is certainly no exception. I got the peanut butter and the sweet cream, although the peanut butter really exceeded my expectations. Will definitely come back the next time I’m in Hot Springs!

Come here if you are in the area. They had a yak burger when I showed up. Cultured dairy drinks, ice cream… I spent $45 and overate because I am only here once. And still it felt like I did not experience everything.
And the staff is friendly.
That is a wooden spoon for the ice cream

Loved this place. The prices are a bit high but that is to be expected. The ice cream was really yummy, and it seemed extra creamy. The burgers and chili are also really good. I think a bowl of chili is one of the best things you can get. It’s absolutely delicious and the bowl is much bigger than expected. Service wasn’t the best though.
