We loved this restaurant! Driving through on our way to NOLA and the name intrigued us. Lots of food options on their menu and it was all great. You can order from the counter or from your table’s QR code. We sat outside in a very comfortable outdoor patio area with tvs. I had the special for the day, which was Walnut fried chicken and I chose Brussel sprouts au gratin and Gouda grits as sides. (I had the gravy on the side, too.) Very tasty!

Here from Texas working. Everyone said this place is fantastic. I ordered the chicken fried steak with gravy, redskins mashed potatoes, fried okra and a drink.Total was $25.28. Mashed potatoes where cooled not warm or hot just cool.Fried okra was like fries, only ate 1-1/2. The chicken fried steak was tough from first bite. Only had 4 bites. There version of gravy was a queso gravy which was a little spicy. Didn’t even try the cornbread. A classic southern dish ruined. Staff was great, inside was clean and quiet. Other than that I wasn’t pleased at all.

Went there for my wife’s birthday to try it and see how it was. The food was good. Chicken tenders were great, the ribs were tender and seasoned well I just prefer a little more smoke flavor. My daughter got the buffalo chicken salad and it was swimming in buffalo sauce. She actually had to scrape her sandwich to get it where she could eat. We also got soft drinks and really like the plastic cups from places we eat at. Everyone before and after us got them and we handed styrofoam cups. Asked why we couldn’t get the plastic cups and the young girl said she didn’t have lids for them. Said we don’t need lids and she just stood there and acted snotty. Aside of that, I would eat there again, but first impressions are the lasting ones. There’s a Quote that says, “people may not remember your name, but they will remember how you treated them.”

Breakfast and customer service was wonderful. Our waitress was a young lady by the name of Kenzie whom we enjoyed having. She kept checking on us, answered any questions we had and she was kind! My plate was so full I had enough to take home and my husband enjoyed his as well.

So far, everything we had was delicious. I love that it’s fresh and surprisingly flavorful. We have only gotten carry-out the times we have eaten there.
The brisket melt is so yummy! The okra fries were crispy and my favorite, personally. Our son loved the chicken tender bowl over mashed potatoes and turnip greens topped with gravy.

Our family has tried to eat here multiple times, with no luck – because they are always so busy.
However, last Thursday, my wife and I were out at lunch and saw they were not busy.
We walked in, ordered, and sat right away.
The food was great! The bartender was our server – although we didn’t sit at the bar. She did a fantastic job! We’ll definitely return!

I could eat the fried green tomatoes all day long. They were amazing and consistent. No difference between my 1st or 2nd time visiting the establishment.
The smoked wings and vroom vroom shrimp stole the show as well.
The taco trio was pretty good too. Tacos are pretty easy, so not a huge flavor explosion. I’d only give more detailed feedback here if they were bad. Lol
The mac n cheese was underwhelming, but had potential. If they were to drizzle a spicy sweet type sauce and add something with a crunch for a bit more texture, that would kick things up a notch. Maybe I’ll ask on the next trip.
The Shut Your Mouth fries were decent. The brisket was cooked well and very tender. I’d recommend for those that like a lot of options in one central location.
Staff is always so pleasant and have great suggestions. Service has been pretty quick and food was prepared fresh to order on both visits. I’d come back for sure.

The food is always great here. Everyone here is professional and polite we met the owner today as we had our breakfast He was top notch guy and you could tell he really cared. Tommy who runs the floor is always there and making sure everything is the way it is supposed to be. Great place to dine in or carryout

We have enjoyed this restaurant twice. We ordered the chicken and turnip greens bowl with gravy on the side. My husband ordered the chicken fried steak with turnip greens and mashed potatoes. All the food is so good! The service is great! The second time around ordered the chicken fried steak, mac and cheese, greens, buffalo chicken sandwich, gumbo and fries. Again, the food is very good. The gumbo is a must try! The buffalo chicken sandwich – my only issue is that the bun is not toasted which made the sandwich become a bit soggy from the buffalo chicken. Overall very good and we would recommend and come again

Wow. I hate I haven’t come sooner considering they’re 2 miles from me! My boyfriend has been raving about this spot for about 2 months now, & our schedules finally permitted time for us to come in for a sit down visit! The atmosphere is nice & decor is cute. On to the food, not only is service quick but the food is amazing; I had the twisted burger…this juicy, double stacked burger with cheese melted, onions, dill pickle & their signature sauce…definitely one of the best burgers around! My boyfriend was nothing short of pleased with his spicy, buffalo chicken sandwich; the fries are super good too! He’s previously had the seafood pasta (a specialty item that’ll possibly be added to the menu soon) & he said it was just as good! The staff is kind & greets you with smiles. 10/10
