First time at one of their bars, besides Helen fitzgerald. This one’s been here five years. Really nice inside.
Amazing happy hour until 5 PM. Several five dollar drinks and several five dollar appetizers. The onion rings were good. The tenderloin skewers are amazing.
Twisted tree restaurant is known for their amazing salads and you can get the twisted salad here. Don’t miss it.
And the burger was great.
The bartender was great. She never stopped moving the whole time we were there. That’s real hustle. Despite that she promptly responded to requests and even took a moment to talk towards the end of our stay. No big deal, but she did not introduce herself. Servers just don’t do that anymore. Do they? I almost always have to ask them their name.
The hostesses were very nice and quick to get us seated (although we got there right before dinner rush so times may vary).
Our waitress was Faith. She was very personable, attentive, and had a great sense of humor. She made the experience great and didn’t forget about us the entire visit like some places do. She ensured our visit was on point along with the service!
My husband and I had the Crab Rangoon for the appetizer (definitely get this for your appetizer! It was SO good) and for the main course he had the Wagyu Burger, I had the Blackened Mahi Sandwich, both with fries.
We also had some cocktails, he had the Gold Rush and I had the Blackberry Smash, both were made perfectly!
I would absolutely eat here again and recommend it to other. It was easily accessible and has handicap accommodations as well.
We ordered a variety of brunch items and everything came out hot and well-prepared. I had the Biscuits & Gravy, which were topped with shredded cheddar and smothered in creamy sausage gravy — definitely hearty and flavorful. My son had the Twisted Waffles, which were topped with chocolate chips, caramel drizzle, and whipped cream. They were indulgent and perfect for someone with a sweet tooth. We also shared a side of breakfast potatoes, which were crispy, well-seasoned, and sprinkled with a touch of cheese.
The service was friendly and the brunch menu had a great selection of classic favorites with a little twist (pun intended). I really appreciated that the food felt homemade and not overly processed — you can tell they take pride in their kitchen.
If I had one small critique, it’s that the menu pricing was just a bit on the higher end for a casual brunch spot, but the quality and portion sizes mostly made up for it.
I’d definitely come back, especially to try a few of the other brunch options like the Tavern Burrito or the Cinnamon Roll Bake. Great spot for a relaxed weekend meal.
Our waitress was splendid – present, helpful, sweet and attentive. Kept our drinks full, checked on us, and made sure everything was good.
Food timing was spot on. Appetizer arrived pretty quick and those fried pickles are delicious – not too salty. Sandwiches and pizza at our table were super yummy! I got the spicy chicken sandwich, which is made with two tenders instead of one patty. The hot drizzle on there is good. Would love some honey mustard though. I enjoyed the garlic mashed potatoes too.
It was my birthday and I opted for the wedding cake (seemed to be the most “middle of the road” dessert option). The raspberry sauce on the plate was tart and the cake was moist. I’m more of a whipped cream icing kind of guy but it was tasty.
