We stopped here several months ago, and had a delicious lunch. The food was great, very hot, the beers were refreshing. Service was fine. In looking at the negative reviews here, it seems those all occurred over a year ago (in early 2024) and they must have made some changes in the right direction. We were pleasantly surprised by this little gem tucked away. My only suggestions are to advertise more with a sign out front, and a sign out on Route 8, because I had no idea it was even here. Also, signage inside of whether to seat yourself or wait to be seated would be helpful. In the meantime, keep up the good work.

We had a great time at Twisted Osk Tavern for NYE 2025. The food was delicious and the band Uptown Classics – our favorite! But we paid to get champagne at midnight. The waiter filled my glass and left. My husband didn’t get his champagne for NY. We assumed the waiter ran out and was coming back with more but he never did. I think if we paid for champagne we should have received it.

We were pleasantly surprised by our first visit to the Twisted Oak Tavern. It was slightly pricier than expected, but not exorbitantly so. The smoked meats were very good, and our server was attentive and friendly. We will definitely visit again since we did not get to try the smoked brisket on this trip.

My friend and I went in to get dinner and we had a lovely time. Miss Jordan took care of us at the bar and was literally a ray of sunshine! She was very courteous and gave us great service – we will definitely be back. The food and drinks were delicious!

Food is excellent. Bbq is amazing. Prices on drinks and food are beyond reasonable. Servers are friendly and the place is clean. Oh, and the golf course is one of the nicest public courses around. Please check this place out!

This was a nice off the beaten path place. We sat on the patio overlooking the golf course on a beautiful evening. Sammy was an excellent server. Food was delicious. I had the steak fajita bowl and my husband had the club sandwich.

I went with my boyfriend. We both got plain water with lemon to drink. Mine was normal, but his was sickeningly sweet and visibly cloudy. When we reported it to our server, she didn’t seem concerned at all and just got him a new water like nothing happened. That being said, the food was great.

I used to come here all of the time. It was one of my favorite places to go to eat. I ordered take out at least once a week. Recently, I ordered shrimp scampi for me, and a burger for my husband. My shrimp scampi had 4 shrimp in the entire meal, which was $15 and my husband’s $15 burger was so soggy that he couldn’t even hold the bun as it broke apart. I live less than 5 minutes from this restaurant and being quoted 15-20 minutes to pick up, I was there in 14. I ended up speaking with management and talked to them about this issue. The manager seemed sincere and offered me meals to replace those. I was very appreciative of this and took him up on his offer in getting two bacon cheeseburgers. When I got home with these meals, there was no bacon on either burger and both were burnt terribly. The staff are very nice here, but the cooks absolutely do not care about the quality of food they are putting out. It’s obvious in their finished product. Not sure what has changed, but it is very disappointing.

So I USED to eat here often. But not anymore for multiple reasons. The first one is because the staff NEVER answers the phone to make an order. Over the last two months I’ve called at least 12-15 times and not one time was a call answered. Sometimes it was as if the phone was off the hook. And others they just wouldn’t pick up the phone. And I’ve tried to call back multiple times in a row. They even have an option to leave a message. No call back. So how do they expect to get my business if I can’t get ahold of anyone to put an order in? It’s frustrating. So I’m not sure if it’s the staff responsible or not. But the owners may want to look into it.
The other reason is that I would often get their burgers. The previous few times I had the burgers they were burnt. I figured maybe a new cook was the issue. So I took a break from eating there.
