Had breakfast this morning with my family. It’s not my first visit, but was my first visit with our 4 year old. We happily found a comfy spot in the couch and he was able to have his bacon and eggs on the little table. My churro latte was good (as was my breakfast sandwich-pictured). It’s nice to see the shop is family friendly with ample seating (see games photo). Definitely will bring the family again.

First time at Twisted Grounds but right from the moment you walk in you know what kind of service you’re getting.
The employees were so sweet and kind and helped with any and all questions.
The atmosphere is really fun lots of windows and plants and a variety of seating like desks and tables for eating or studying tables for board games/chess and couches for chatting or reading.
As for the menu there is tons of coffee, tea, food and even some alcohol options. Along with a dietary restrictions key.
Service was quick and and will definitely be coming back here sometime soon.

This place is so cute! The decor, the seating, there’s merch for purchase. The whole environment is super cozy and inviting.
I came here to check it out for breakfast. I ordered the everything steak bagel sandwich. This sandwich is SO good but she’s messy! So grab lots of napkins. But it was so so good. I paired this sandwich with their pumpkin pie cold brew, which was delicious!
I will definitely be back!

Very cool interior, makes for a very nice atmosphere. My food got brought out, and it was super yummy. I got the skinny breakfast sandwich and swapped the egg whites to an egg. My side greens were fresh and tasty, with the vinegarette dressing it up.
I loved the sugar free flavor syrup options! More than I usually see. I got a cafe au lait with SF chocolate and raspberry. There was also vanilla, caramel, and hazelnut.

Lovely local cafe with that old timey cozy vibe that you have been searching for. Feels straight out of your favorite 90s sitcom. The pesto sandwich was amazing exactly the type of thing I have been searching for in Madison. Really great local clientele as well. Will be coming back sometime soon to try a few other menu items.

Great coffee and menu items. Friendly staff. Loyalty program is actually pretty generous too. Service to take orders is a little slow, and the air inside is pretty smokey, leaving your clothes smelling like the kitchen griddle until you wash them again.

I meet a friend here for lunch once a week. It’s a sweet little coffee shop with tables plus comfy chairs to relax in. They have an extensive menu of drinks and sandwiches and bowls. I have yet to be disappointed by any of their fare. I especially like the fruit bowl with poppy seed dressing and the BLT with avocado on toasted wheat bread. Sandwiches come with a side. I’m glad my friend and I found a friendly place to meet and enjoy.

This is a cute little place with good coffee according to my wife, who would know. The food was very good that we ordered. I ordered the steak salad which has little chunks of steak avocado, spinach, red onions and arugula, see photo. I also ordered a strawberry blueberry raspberry smoothie, which is also very good. She ordered scrambled eggs, bacon and toast which was also tasty.
