We absolutely LOVE Twist n Shake! Everything we tried had tasted great, the staff are very friendly, the wait time + prices are very reasonable, the kids are doing a wonderful job. We highly recommend them to any locals we know craving some good ice cream!
The only downside is they close when the heat is gone/when school season starts (understandably!)… but we count down the days when they reopen!! They are always worth the wait.

Update. Owner contacted me and was genuinely interested in making things better. Good on them.
It’s what you expect from an ice cream shop staffed by children.
The formula is simple. You give them money, They hand you ice cream. 9 out of 10 times it works fine. On that 10th time when everything goes wrong, and the downside of not having any adults present becomes evident.
4 out of 5 stars because at least they pretended like they cared and we did get ice cream, just not quite what we ordered.

Whoever the young girl was working Thursday, May 23rd. I think she said her name was Myles? The stand had not opened yet, she was there early, it was 2:20 pm, she was by herself, yet, she still took my order and made everything. This young girl went above and beyond and held her own. What a breath of fresh air to see a young, diligent, disciplined worker. T&S, you got a real good one. This kid has promise.

We love Twist-n-Shake! Ice cream and food are all delicious and service is pretty fast for a little place! 😉 The staff are all friendly and their 50’s weekend is the best part of summer here. Great place! We highly recommend trying any of the weekly specials! Great value and super delicious! Everything you expect from a great mom and pop ice cream place! 🙂

T&S is usually our place to go for cones and sundaes. We went Saturday evening for a couple cones. The normally firm soft serve was soft and runny. It appeared the soft serve did not get cold enough as it was already dripping down the side of the cone when it was handed to us at the window
