I’ve had better food, much better service, and found the restaurant cleaner getting breakfast at a truck stop.
-Cleanliness/atmosphere: see pictures. Disgusting. These were taken rather early in the morning.
-Service: see photo of a service charge that does NOT go to the servers. All orders go through a tablet for to go orders or via smart phone (where you must give a good deal of personal data and tip in advance) for in restaurant dining. Servers seemed disinterested at best, intentionally dismissive at worst.
-Food: for breakfast, see picture. The omelet was quite literally an overcooked egg with some plastic cheese. The “salad” was out of date greens in a tiny quantity.
Overall? This place will not leave you disappointed, worse, it will make you angry. There’s better value in vending machine food.
That said, the pizza here was pretty dang good, and the service was pleasant and efficient.
It’s more like quick casual than actual sit-down. You go in and seat yourself. Then you scan a qr code and order. It’s simple and quick. Server brings it out and periodically checks up.
MSP Terminal 1 is pretty nice in general these days, and this a good spot to grab a beer and a pizza if you’re laying over for a bit here.
Would be better off just having a kiosk like a McDonald’s and a self serve Soda fountain. The expectation of having table service would be taken away and make more sense
Odered breakfast and a coffee, as soon as coffee came out so did the tablet requesting payment and tip before breakfast order would be sent back to being made.
Regardless of the reason for the policy, I don’t support this policy and process. Please consider revising to be inline with industry norms.
Check your tip, this place defaults to 18% for bringing out your food even though that’s probably part of the service fee.
