The lunch specials look great! I did the sushi today and it was delightful! The fiod was fresh, the salad had a rice vinegar dressing that was similar to my iwn recipe. Staff was warm and friendly. I will definitely be back!

Great service and wonderful people don’t mean a whole lot when the food tastes terrible. We ordered take out yesterday evening. 5 sushi rolls. All of them tasted bland. Very little flavor. The sushi rice was the worst I have ever tasted. The texture was mushy and the flavor was like overboiled regular rice mashed together. Not even a hint of salt, let alone any flavor detected.

The service was good but the food could have been SO much better. I got the Chicken Katsu, Cali roll, salmon skin salad and the combination plate with beef and sushi. The chicken was dry and thin more breading than chicken, the Cali roll was alright nothing to rave about, the salmon skin just looked disgusting so I didn’t even taste it and the combination beef was just sad. The fried/white rice portion is so small too

Below average sushi– old rice, thin meat, and too much cucumber. The dumplings were fine. I was the only person in the entire place at 6pm. The service was amazing though, incredibly personable and charming.

I got to say, for a place I found on my own because I happened to be in Mandeville area Saturday, this was a great place to stumble upon. It wasn’t busy Saturday afternoon, but we had great service, the food was delicious and had a great conversation with the owner / chef once she was done with our food.
We started with the fried tofu steaks and jalapeño poppers for appetizers. Then got the tempora shrimp and salmon roll, and spicy tuna rolls on the side. For entree we got the tempora meal and the Charashi dinner. Everything was fresh and delicious. I highly recommend.

Landed here unexpectedly and it turned out to be just awesome… server and owner were really helpful and as we are pretty new to Sushi they guided us really well… all the orders turned out to be super tasty and am going back for sure
