I came here with my family for the first time, the restaurant was very clean, we were seated right away. We were also attended to right away. The menu had a variety of items, including fried rice, seafood, fried food, and lots of appetizers like hush puppies cheese sticks and calamari just to name a few. We ordered the appetizer sampler which came out promptly and was not over or undercooked and Very tasty. Then we ordered a big platter. I can’t remember the name of it but it came with king crab, snow, crab, shrimp, mussels, sausage, eggs, and the price of this we paid 199, which I feel is reasonable. All of the seafood was cooked extremely well nothing was overcooked or undercooked. Everything tasted very fresh. I personally was not crazy about the sauce we chose which was the Cajun mixed with garlic butter, but I think that’s just my personal preference. We will be back and we will be trying just the garlic butter alone, which I think is more a cup of tea. And I forgot to mention I got a mango margarita and a shot of Mexican candy, which were both really good. I definitely recommend visiting this restaurant, it’s absolutely worth a try.

Avoid this location. I visited with a party of 6 and we had a miserable experience. Our server essentially abandoned the table. we never received drink refills and had to resort to flagging down busboys for basic assistance. My rice order took so long to arrive that the rest of my party was finished eating by the time I received it. To top it off, they added an automatic gratuity to the bill. It is incredibly frustrating to be forced to pay a service tip when there was effectively no service provided. We will not be returning.

I decided to order from here seeing all the great reviews & comments on tik tok compared to other seafood restaurants & was HIGHLY disappointed. I will say the food wasn’t bad itself, the crabs were amazing & fresh & so was the muscle & shrimp. The sides were pretty good but the sauce was absolutely disgusting! No type of garlic buttery seafood flavor just chunky & salty. Food was a 7.5/10 but i would have enjoyed eating it with real seafood sauce.

Got my drinks & my order & he did come by a few times to check up on me & refill my drink. The food came out piping hot. I had to wait a bit before I could touch the potatoes & crab because it was hot. Everything was really good, seasoned & fresh. I asked for spicy hot & it was just right for my liking. I tried out their house special seasoning & it was pretty good. I liked how the combos come with 2 corns & potatoes. I didn’t have to order any sides.

It was empty but the service wasn’t good . The shrimp were bland but the combo fried rice was really good, my head started hurting I’m guessing due to all the sodium and grease . I ordered a lb of shrimp and they were all still here except 3 soooo yea ! SWAMP KINGS LA CRAWFISH SHACK! Those are the go tos in this area not worth $74 full video on tiktok. Kaitlin was very rude and did not bother coming out even when I had concerns with the greasiness of my order .

I decided to drive 40 minutes to this place because I heard their food was amazing!
Boy was I wrong! First of all, the bathrooms nasty! I do not like eating at places with nasty bathrooms! The eating area itself was clean and decent.
My baby and I were seated after maybe 10 minutes of a wait time. Our server was cool I guess, I think his babe was Erik; I can’t remember. He didn’t refill our drinks at all nor really checked on us.
To start off about our order. I ordered my baby the chicken tenders with fries and a drink. He picked over the chicken tenders, he said they didn’t taste good, which is insane because my baby loves chicken tenders.
I ordered myself 5 lbs of crawfish, 1/2 lb of sausage, potatoes, corn, and an order of sweet potato fries. The fries came out first. I am a lover of sweet potato fries! I’ve never tasted any that I didn’t like, until these ones. They had a weird taste to them that I can’t explain. They were disgusting.
Now to the worst part of my meal, the crawfish!! They were super tiny, no flavor—just full of garlic , and soggy. Not to mention majority of them didn’t have tails, I checked.
I ate MAYBE 5 crawfish out of that entire bag. I couldn’t eat those things at all!!! The potatoes weren’t done and were very hard, the sausage is sliced super thin and put in the bag with the food. I didn’t like that at all! I mean, I don’t even know if they’d actually given me 1/2 a lb. The corn was probably the only decent thing out of this entire meal smh. I was fed up, I asked my waiter for my ticket so that I could go home. I spent MAYBE 30 minutes in total at this place. That’s how fast I left because of the food. The waiter was confused at how fast I asked for my ticket, because he had literally just sat out plates down. He also realized that my bag was still full. He asked if everything was okay? I explained to him that the food wasn’t good at all and I’d just like to pay and go home. I wasted gas, spent over $60 on food that I couldn’t eat and went to bed starving LITERALLY! I was so upset because I hadn’t eaten a thing that day and I was anticipating a great meal. Needless to say, I’ll never eat there again.

Food was definitely good, but the service was bad. We got there hostess wasn’t really that nice she just led us to our seats and walked away. The restaurant wasn’t busy, but for the girl to be training a new server, I hope the new server gets better established training because working in the restaurant industry previously for many years showed me how unattended the server was. She came one time the entire time, and we had to flag her down for anything we needed. It was sad because it was our first time. The food was good, but the service wasn’t so much. It didn’t make our experience as enjoyable knowing it wasn’t even busy. We weren’t demanding at all as we do know sometimes it can be alot going on at once, but the customer service wasn’t there at all.

First time visiting and was highly disappointed. Food was good but service was the absolute worst. Our server abandoned our table after delivering part of our order and didn’t care about refilling our drinks or even checking up on us. We had to ask busboys and other servers to assist with our refills. She later came back only for payment and had gratuity automatically added to our check.

First time visiting ! The crawfish was really delicious, but a bit too spicy for me! Oysters were not to my liking but the crab legs and lobster tail were veryyyy exquisite! The price was not bad at all for the amount of food we consumed ! The drinks were also soo delicious , I got a mojito and a piña colada!

The food looked good but the seasoning on seafood was very chalky for some reason and VISUALLY looked seasoned but the seasoning barely had any flavor. The actual seafood was good quality. The service could have been better. They screwed over our waitress by making her wait on literally MOST if not ALL of the restaurant. So the service was slow due to poor staffing. The staff was nice , they weren’t rude or anything, but I used to be a waitress and I would like the business to know that they desperately need to schedule at LEAST two more waitresses in the restaurant and have more food runners as well. The restaurant looks nice but it needs a to be managed better. The restrooms were atrocious. And this is said by someone who used to work in a restaurant where the homeless used to pee on the bathroom floor. I really hope they take the feedback and make a a few changes because I would like to see more local businesses in Houston thrive. There’s no reason why they should have ONE waitress in a big section on a Sunday night. Thank you.
