It always struck me the parking lot was always busy, we decided to stop in for dinner – it was restaurant week, and we shared the short ribs, rotisserie chicken, mashed potatoes, chop salad, and cheese curds – all were good. Service was excellent and friendly. The restaurant is nicely decorated, plenty of parking, and easy access.

I had some good soup, but got their beet salad to go. When I got to eating it later in the day, I was so beyond disappointed in both the VERY small size and quality of the greens. The dressing for this is also not well paired for a beet salad, which is only my opinion; not facts as the other 2 things. I’ve honestly had small “side salads” that were a bigger portion- this was definitely not a dinner sized entree and absolutely not worth $13!!! I was hoping to eat this as my dinner but it was barely even the size of a light snack. I picked out the super wilted and brown bits of the greens from it and had about 3 bites of the most disappointing salad I think I have ever been served.

Twin cities 400 should be a STAPLE for the city of Minneapolis! We had such a wonderful experience here , the server we had (wish I would have got her name) was so amazing! Kind and patient to any and all questions that we had about the menu! One of us wasn’t super hungry so we got an appetizer salad , we also tried the BIG MAR burger and WOW! Burger had tons of flavor and was so juicy! Love that this restaurant isn’t far from Roseville and downtown Minneapolis! Super helpful also that it has a hotel Connected! FIVE STARS

Was staying at the hotel and went in for dinner and breakfast. Dinner I walked in and sat at the bar. Asked the bartender for a menu and if they had a happy hour. He gave me a menu and said happy hour is on the menu and he walked away. I was going to order a drink too but guess not. Then a min a new bartender, Nikki, came in and was very nice took my order and kept the drinks flowing. I ordered a meat lover pizza. It was really good. The crust was great and everything about it. So glad Nikki came in with her nice attitude and seemed liked she cared. Otherwise I was going to leave. Now breakfast I did a denver omelet, and again it was great. I had Husey for a server. He was really good too. Kept my coffee filled and fast serves. I got the names from the receipts so I hope they’re right names. I would differently go back here to eat.

Today we had breakfast. I ordered my eggs over medium to avoid the runny egg whites. The egg whites were runny. I ate around it.
Shout out to our server Crystal K. Friendly and attentive but, not hovering. Perfect!
Cocktail prices are overpriced for my liking. Yet, we are staying at the hotel and don’t drink and drive. So, high priced cocktails it is! $13 for a cocktail.
The food is good. Not at all terrible from the 5 meals we have had between breakfast and dinner. I prefer the dinner. The food pricing is comparable to other restaurants. We had the burgers the first time. Excellent! The short ribs were dry and not worth the $28 though the sauce made up for it. I would go for the steak next time, if I want beef.
If you’re on a budget, this may not be the place for you. If you’re on a budget staying at the hotel. Door dash may be a cheaper option.

I had high hopes, but it was very disappointing overall. It was not busy, yet it took too long to get seated. The cocktails were way too sweet. I didn’t try the Alfredo that my wife ordered but she said it was ok. It was the first time I can recall seeing peas and mushrooms in an Alfredo dish, but there they were. The only positive was the braised short ribs. The meat was very good, although the sauce was a bit imbalanced. Unfortunately, the risotto under the short ribs was gloopy and tight and the fried onions on top tasted like they were cooked yesterday. Also, when our dishes were served at the table, we were given no silverware and I had to go to the bar to get some. Our server arrived 20 minutes later with some silverware, not even knowing that I took care of it myself. Not a good experience.

Though they were short staffed they still had excellent quality service with a smile. The atmosphere is very nostalgic and modern at the same time, very fun to look at. Their menu is a good American food menu with fun kick, but nothing too weird. They have a good variety for everyone to choose from and the food is by far the best I have had! The temperature is just right and the taste is so pleasing. The serving perfect, we were full and no leftovers. Definitely a must go place!
