Last minute decision to eat in Wabash before spending an evening at the Honeywell arts center and WOW! I’m so glad we did! What a wonderful meal and experience. Service was top notch and food was excellent. Can’t recommend enough!
The French onion soup was excellent. We enjoyed the shrimp and grits and the Mac and cheese.

We stumbled on to this wonderful restaurant in the hotel there by accident. Found the food to be great and the service also. We were amazed that the price of our meals were very competitive to other fine dining restaurants. Loved the fact that we didn’t have to dress up to come into the restaurant, and never once felt out of place. We have been there twice now and will definitely come back again!

Love, Love, Loved the food! Went at soon as it opened and got a burger for breakfast. It was amazing. Tables and really cool, really nice spot for Wabash. Only complaint I had was our sever didnt tell us about the specials. Then a whole group of elderly ladies came in and got the whole spiel about the specials and more. Besides that i really loved this spot and I will be back again.

This place was a huge disappointment and a big waste of money. From the minute we walked in to the minute we left the restaurant it was a huge hot mess. From our server being scatter brained to the kitchen acting like they had never cooked before. We started with drink orders, I asked for a sweet tea. I got unsweet tea. I told her multiple times that it was unsweet and she just ignored me. Until she asked if I wanted a refill on my tea when I had 3/4 left that I hadn’t drank. After that I got the calamari and my husband got the French onion soup. The calamari flavor was decent, it came out partially covered in breading and clumped in balls inside of separated by piece. My husbands French onion soup had good flavor, the croutons were extremely soggy, the soup was too thin, like water, and there was a huge lack of onions. Then for dinner I ordered the flank steak medium rare with cream corn, mushroom, and charred scallion puree. My husband ordered the New York strip with “potato cake”, tomato, asparagus, and pimiento cheese. For the kids they got grilled chicken, French fries, and Mac n cheese. My steak came out half medium and half well done, the corn came out cold, the hottest thing was the mushroom. Which also happened to be the only good thing on my plate. For my husbands meal, his steak was properly cooked for the most part. Some sections being well done, his steak was mostly gristle and inedible. His asparagus was burnt and his so called “potato cakes” was poorly made mash potatoes. Nothing close to potato cakes. The kids meals were alright, they gave very little French fries and the penne they used for the Mac n cheese was extremely overcooked and mushy. We tried to inform our waitress of the issues and she got the manager which he did nothing to remedy the situation and just argued with us about the whole thing and said he would talk to the kitchen staff next time he sees them… It was the worst experience I ever had in a restaurant to date. Paid over 100$ and walked away starving because our food wasn’t edible… extreme disappointment. Either don’t order the steaks and anything pasta or avoid this place all together.

The staff was amazing and the decore is great. Some of the food we ordered was good but the brisket was hard and dry even with the bbq sauce. The veggie hash was oily and was running on my plate onto my other items on the plate.

Fantastic food. The service here is always amazing and the place in general is so inviting. There seafood options are always top notch. This place is alittle more upscale but a comfortable feel. Their wine selection is good. I recommend for a nice date night. For Valentines day they also have a chocolate and wine tasting event.

At 1st I was leary because of a few less then positive reviews were posted. These were several years old. I drove an hour to meet with family members at a place half way for us to eat. All I can say is WE WILL BE BACK!!!

We went up to the covered bridge festival and decided to go by Wabash to find somewhere to eat instead of going back to Peru. We were greeted by some sort of festival of body builders and a single parking spot with our name on it a block away. For spur of the moment, that was a big surprise!
The restaurant was booked out so we had to wait about 45min for a table for two. Not a big deal as they have a wine room and candy shop attached that we could waste time at. I made sure to grill the host, manager and even the front desk of the Inn to ensure it was worth the wait and they all assured me it was.
Surprisingly, it was worth the wait. The waitress was a bit all over but I believe they were experiencing some rush due to the festival. We still got all the service we required and requested.
I gave the prime rib a try with a baked potato and green beans. The prime rib was a little over cooked at the edge but still had good flavor. The green beans were 100% amazing. The baked potato was bland and not worth it. Over all, I enjoyed it. My wife got a fried chicken salad and she said hers was wonderful.
We ordered a few drinks and the bartender did a great job with recommendations. Not a huge selection of bourbon but they have a few good ones.
Only other let down was the online Google menu showed truffle fries and they no longer serve them.
We were very surprised to find this establishment and even more surprised it was worth the wait. We will be back and hopefully it continues to live up to the five star rating!
