Chicken Marcella was delicious. However, it came on the bone which is not my favorite way to have it served. The restaurant also has a small but great market inside with organic produce, wine, cheese, pantry staples, and much more.

This is one of our favorite family restaurants. The wait staff are all very nice. They have coloring for the kids. Service is speedy. They make a fantastic Caesar salad and ribeye. My kids love the cheese pizza and mussels. And to top it off I can get a great margarita. Highly recommend.

The service was great! The atmosphere was fine. The food presentation was great but extremely bland. It felt like there was no seasoning in any of our dishes. We got the veggie burger, hamburger which oddly came on a baguette and the Thai chili noodles which was more like a thin Thai peanut soup with unseasoned meat and noodles. The sweet potato fries were fine

Best neighborhood restaurant in the Bay Area. Love this spot, service is great and friendly staff. Menu has something for everyone and their brunch is phenomenal! Surprisingly good cocktails as well. Many dishes are better than too fine dining restaurants for half the price. Highly recommend checking out their market as well which is like the best of a Wholefoods and farmers market combined.

They carry some great wines at fair prices and the premade food sections is incredible, everything is easy to heat up at home and delicious. Best part is all the ingredients are locally sourced and mostly organic.

It’s always ok – consistent, reliably good food. If you like what they offer, you’ll always get something you like. The quality doesn’t waiver. I’m there every other week for lunch. You can order a NY steak that’s not on the menu, and they’ll get it from their grocery section, and it’ll be really good. The entree prices are reasonable, the drinks expensive.

Requested a side of cocktail sauce for a $15 calamari appetizer because it is served with tartar sauce (unhealthy mayonnaise and relish). We were presented with a 1oz serving of watery marinara sauce that was not only unusually small for three people, it was definitely insufficient for the roughly 1/2 lb of calamari.
So, I asked for a second such side, and all hell broke loose:
– It took five minutes to get the attention of the half-empty restaurant’s staff to request the condiment.
– When I asked for the additional marinara, I was WARNED that ordering a third would result in a surcharge. Not that I wanted a third or was concerned with the price, why was I threatened with asking for sauce?
– About ten minutes later, the manager came to the rescue. But, only in his mind because he did not have any marinara sauce for our then long – cold appetizer. Instead, he professed his deep concern as to whether we wanted the 1 oz marinara dip to be warm or cold. At this moment when I had to endure his gaslighting, it had been at least 15 minutes since the calamari was placed on the table. And, I was just trying to get some marinara to share with my family.

Having worked at several restaurants and dined around the world I cannot, for the life of me, understand what kind of petty BS happened to make a marinara request go nuclear in the kitchen to the point that the manager resorted to gaslighting us about a 1 oz marinara side’s temperature preference 15 minutes after the plate was put on the table.
I really hope they do better in the future. But, I won’t be there to see it.

We had breakfast here. There were four of us. The service was very good. The waiter boy was friendly and at the same time did not interfere with our communication with friends. I am satisfied with my breakfast. It was very delicious. Friends ordered a pancake. But it was too lemony. They couldn’t finish their pancakes. Of course, the topic of tastes is specific. Someone will like a richer taste, and someone will not. In general, I liked the place. There was also delicious craft beer. I recommend to visit. Maybe this place will become your favorite!)

Wow! What a great experience. My husband and I went to dinner last night and our server was Jason and he was exceptional!! He’s only there on Sundays unfortunately but if you get a chance to go in make sure you ask for Jason. I love this restaurant and will be returning back for the great service.

Tutu’s (formerly called Chow) is a combination of restaurant, bar, and indoor market. All dishes are prepared with local, organic ingredients, which are also sold in their small market. The menu consists mostly of salads, sandwiches, tacos, and burgers. The food quality was good, but the prices were high, even for Lafayette. Fast and friendly service. Free refills on ice teas. Indoor and outdoor seating.

My spouse and I enjoyed a late lunch on the patio of Tu-Tu’s. Geraldo was our attentive, pleasant server. The outdoor tables are well-placed for adequate shade and privacy. Our food was delicious, fresh, and well-prepared. Photo is an open-face tuna melt on delicious bread with avocado on top. My salad was super fresh and perfect with the light house dressing. It was our first visit; certainly not our last! The owner’s online description represents the restaurant well. Adequate paid parking is convenient. Check it out!
