The service was very nice, our waiter was very nice and came to refill our water. He also brought us our food and the salmon with the creamy lemon sauce was very good.
The plating looked a little sloppy but the food was delicious. The salmon was the right amount of tender with the lemon sauce able to have just enough lemon come through.
We also had the churro cheesecake and top layer was cake, middle layer was cream cheese type, and bottom layer was cinnamon type. Very delicious but I think a little less cake on top would be a bit better.
Atmosphere is dimply lit with a little bit of a rustic vibe from the bare brick wall on one side.
They have daily specials except for Saturdays which I appreciate but understand why they don’t do specials for Saturdays.
They also have a promotion going on the site called “operation local” where you can buy a voucher for $25 and get $50 to spend at their restaurant. Voucher comes in the mail. Highly recommend.

Went here for dinner with my husband and 4 years old son, after visiting the Capitol Building. The place is very cozy. Our server Melissa was very attentive making sure at all times we are good and enjoy our time. We order 3 pasta dinners( Bourbon St. Medley, Tutto Mari and Fettuccine Alfredo with chicken) all were tasty. Also tried the clam chowder and potato ham soup. The whole experience was great!
I recommend this restaurant to try it!

Excellent service with very sociable and hospitable employees and management, a fine dining establishment set for multipurpose use with an excellent array of food selection and drink variation. If you stop in Madison, please make it part of your plan to stop in and experience the luxurious yet homestyle experience!

Amazing! I have eaten here a few times and every time has been impeccable. First, the food has been excellent! I have gotten the crab legs and the fettuccine chicken alfredo, both of which were very good. I especially appreciated the fact that the chicken in the Alfredo was cooked on a flat top grill and not a chargrill which is what I’ve had in the past at other restaurants, the flat top grill doesn’t give you any charred flavor and it makes the chicken go very nicely with the other flavors in the pasta. I have also been looking for a place that has good seafood that doesn’t break the bank and their crab legs were exactly what I was looking for, very nice quality and would definitely get again. The service is also amazing! I haven’t had any issues with their servers, and I really appreciated how they all seem to genuinely care about their jobs and they did it very efficiently. Overall, I love the experience of eating here and the fact that I can feel like I’m eating at a very high class place without having to go broke while doing it. I highly recommend!

Went here for Easter Brunch. Service, food, and drinks were great. I had the Tutto Benedict with the bottomless bloody mary and my wife had the Korean Benedict with the bottomless mimosas.

Our server, Miguel, was exceptional in making sure we had the best service we’ve had in Madison in a long time. He was very knowledgeable about the menu, drinks, and how to make sure we were taken care of the whole time. The other two staff working also pitched in to help, Luis and the young lady whose name I didn’t catch.
The food was actually really good, quick, and presented nicely. The vegetarian options were great for me and my partner loved the seafood pasta special.
It was a fantastic place to take my girlfriend on a date. I will be coming here again and I’ve already told some of my friends about it.

Server was very slow at bringing us our food. Saw the kitchen ringing the bell for her to bring it out for five minutes and she never came. She was very slow, which made me wonder if she had a disorder of some kind. I don’t fault her for that, but it certainly impacted our service with cold food. Our beers were room temperature. Food is overpriced for how bland it was. Restaurant was empty, which made sense in hindsight. Lighting indoors was very dim and difficult to read the menus for the older crowd with us. There are much better choices to eat downtown. I wouldn’t pick here.

Went last Saturday. Had reservations and were seated immediately. However:
-One of my group has an allergy, and we were assured nothing in the kitchen would have that ingredient. The “Joe’s spice” did in fact have that ingredient, and she had an allergic reaction. ALSO, she ordered a vegetarian dish that had a piece of chicken in it. None of the staff seemed to know what ingredients they actually had in the dishes when asked – unprofessional and dangerous for people with life threatening allergies.
-We ordered two appetizers, and we didn’t receive either of them.
-No one in my group got any sides with the entrees, as mentioned on the menu.
The food was actually very good for those of us who didn’t have an allergic reaction, but I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone and I will never be back. STAY AWAY

I don’t normally write reviews but I feel obligated to write one for this place. Immediate bad vibes from the second we stepped foot inside. We were immediately thrown off by the beach decor consisting of sea shells and sea creatures with a large poster of Bucky in the middle of it all. Was confused as to why we were some of the ONLY people in the restaurant…well it alllll makes sense now. With all due respect, our waitress was completely out of it. I felt bad but after reading many similar reviews of having a server who just seemed completely out of it as well, it gets to a point where the restaurant should do something about her. Every interaction was beyond awkward and uncomfortable. We ordered what we thought would be enjoyable cocktails, but were instead given mediocre drinks that lacked appropriate presentation (given with straws that resemble those of McDonald’s). We put in our entree orders but as the time we spent in there continued, the weirder the vibes got. We were given our side salads that could’ve been served from a school’s cafeteria and you wouldn’t be able to tell the difference. I opened up my phone to begin reading the reviews which I know have learned I should’ve done beforehand. Many people experienced identical interactions at this restaurant to ours. I couldn’t stand a minute more in this eerie joke of an establishment…I made up an excuse that I had an emergency to leave. I paid for our terrible drinks that had one sip taken from them and booked it out of there immediately. It’s no surprise that this place is in a seemingly popular and good location yet has never been talked about. It is honestly surprising such a poor quality restaurant is able to maintain such a prime location. Never in my life have I had to make up an excuse to leave a restaurant. This “restaurant” was worth that though. I put that in quotes because it honestly does not deserve to hold that title. If you’re ever in Madison, steer as far away as possible from this embarrassment of an establishment.

Came in with a party of 4. First visit here for me. Service was fine but I was not impressed with the food. My burger tasted ok but nothing special at all. It seemed cooked as ordered though. It was served with a tiny side of very wet cole slaw that soaked the plate & burger bun. Companions chicken pasta dish was bland. We had to snag salt & pepper off another table.
All in all, mediocre at best. There are better restaurants nearby at similar prices. My opinion is they need to up their game and set themselves apart.
