Reviews
The café boasts a beautiful patio that’s ideal for outdoor seating when the weather is nice. Even if you end up sitting inside, the cozy, inviting atmosphere makes for a pleasant visit. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable, with a special shout-out to the girl who served me—she was exceptionally helpful in explaining their pastry menu.
Overall, Tutto is a delightful place to unwind with a great cup of coffee and a tasty treat. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a cozy, welcoming café experience.
Their cocktails are some of the best in the area. Their Paloma is my favorite, absolutely refreshing and well balanced.
Their pinsa, or Roman style pizza, is always good. We especially loved their autumn one they had last fall.. Hope to see it back.
Their quinoa salad is absolutely delicious! Packed with great ingredients, it’s hearty yet refreshing and light.
Service always friendly and quick.
“Hidden Gem on the Way to Montauk!”
Every time we head out to Montauk, our first stop—without question—is always Tutto Caffè in East Hampton. It’s one of those rare places that instantly feels like a part of your tradition, even after just one visit. Tucked away from the more obvious main spots, this café truly feels like a hidden gem that more people should know about (but selfishly, we almost want to keep it to ourselves).
The ambiance is simple yet elegant—cozy, welcoming, with a laid-back Hamptons charm. You can tell there’s thought behind everything, from the perfectly brewed coffee to the friendly and attentive staff. It’s the kind of place where you can sit outside and relax in the morning sun, or tuck into a warm corner and recharge before continuing your journey.
We usually come for breakfast, and this time we ordered the avocado toast and sunny side up eggs. Both were absolutely delicious—fresh, beautifully plated, and packed with flavor. The only thing we noticed is that the portions are on the smaller side. Not a dealbreaker at all, especially considering the quality, but we do wish they were just a little more generous, especially after a long drive.
One suggestion: it would be amazing to see an Eggs Benedict option on the menu one day. A classic like that would be a perfect fit here, and we’d be the first to order it!
Overall, Tutto Caffè continues to be one of our favorite stops along the way to Montauk. Great coffee, great food, great people—and an atmosphere that makes you want to linger a little longer. Highly recommended!
Seemed like a longer ratio pull — slightly watery (1:2.5-3?) and lacking any strong aromas (possibly older beans?) but well extracted overall. ☕️
I stopped in to grab an iced coffee and read for a bit. When ordering, I had to repeat my iced coffee order twice because the barista was distracted. A few minutes later, someone brought out a hot coffee. I politely let them know I had ordered it iced, and they offered to remake it, no big deal.
But then the original barista came out and insisted (multiple times) that I hadn’t said “iced.” I told him I was sure I had, especially since I had to repeat it. He continued to argue, saying flat-out, “You didn’t say iced,” which made for an unnecessarily awkward and uncomfortable exchange in front of people sitting around me.
At that point, I said I’d just drink it hot, but he insisted on remaking it and kept pressing the point. The coffee was fine, but I’ve never seen restaurant staff act like this.
Unfortunately, I won’t be returning and I’ll be skipping their new location in Palm Beach too. Go to Sant Ambroeus instead!
