This place is a quintessential, family owned VT diner with great breakfast at reasonable prices! The hospitality was great and the staff were very friendly. Pretty big menu with lots of choices. I had their breakfast sandwich with egg, ham and cheese on a home made onion bagel and it was delicious.

When we motorcycle tour through the country, this is the kind of place we hope to find. A family owned/operated diner/luncheonette with counter service. If there are funny signs hanging everywhere I know I’m in the right place. Tuttle’s checked all the boxes and bonus points for homemade bread and old fashion donuts!! Had a delicious bacon egg hashbrown breakfast with a fantastic donut to go. Staff was friendly and funny and our only regret was not meeting Papa Tuttle.. a legend according to the staff. Great little diner in wells river vermont. Open kitchen and very friendly family run place. Owner is super nice. Food is classic Americana !! Good diner food done right. All your classic diner meals can be found here. Definitely worth a try. I had the reuben one day and enjoyed it.

This place is excellent. The food is delicious. Never disappointing here. The staff is friendly. The location is convenient. The food is prepared properly and served hot. Very nice selection of beverages. You just can’t go wrong. I would definitely recommend this place to others.

We stopped at Tuttles for breakfast on a motorcycle trip. What a fantastic idea it was!!! Family owned, feeling like home, staff with amazing smiles, you really feel welcomed. And what about food? Oh wow, I haven’t had such a good breakfast in ages! You have to try the French toast, and the blueberry pancakes are delicious and very generous. The decor is a classic family diner, with tons of funny quotes. You gotta try it!

I can’t say enough about how this place touched me. Fantastic no nonsense comfort food with a true Vermont feel. Take the Wells River exit on your way up into the Green Mountains. The best grilled cheese and tomato sandwich I have ever eaten! Home Made Local Bread, pancakes cooked the way they should be! Hand cut potato fries The Tuttle Family all work in the restaurant. I support Family businesses and this Diner is a Hidden Gem. Price points are unbelievable. Fantastic fresh food that is not one bit greasy. A true New England old school diner. AMPLE PARKING!
