My husband and I went to Bali in August for our honeymoon and completely fell in love with the culture and the food. When we came home, we tried recreating some of our favorite dishes, but they just didn’t compare. We really wanted something authentic, made by someone who truly knows what they’re doing.

That’s when we found Tuti’s Kitchen, a new Indonesian mobile food truck in Tampa that opened in October. I hesitated at first because it didn’t have many reviews yet and it’s located in a parking lot, but I’m so glad my husband talked me into going. It ended up being one of the best experiences we’ve had since Bali.

Tuti and her team were warm, welcoming, and so passionate about sharing Indonesian food and culture. We brought our dogs with us, and they immediately brought out water bowls for them, which was such a thoughtful touch. We ended up sitting together and sharing stories about Indonesia, learning a few Indonesian words, and hearing their recommendations for the islands we need to visit when we go back. It made the whole experience even more special.

The food was incredible. The mei goreng was our absolute favorite dish in Bali, and theirs tasted just as good as what we had overseas. The basil chicken curry was outstanding, the beef rendang was rich and flavorful, and the mango ring tasted exactly like the one we had on repeat in Bali. They even turned my vegetables into a little vinegar salad on the spot, which was amazing.

We genuinely loved hanging out there and are already excited to go back. We’ll definitely be hiring Tuti to cater future events. If you’re looking for authentic Indonesian food in Tampa, don’t sleep on this place.

I tried Tuti’s kitchen recently, and everything was absolutely delicious! You can taste the care and authenticity in every bite

Chicken Satay: Tender, juicy, and grilled just right with a perfect smoky flavor. The peanut sauce was creamy, rich, and perfectly balanced With white rice

Coconut Curry Chicken: So flavorful and comforting! The curry was silky and full of coconut flavor with just the right touch of spice. The chicken was tender and soaked up all that amazing sauce perfect with rice.

Beef Rendang Combo: the beef is Halal and slow cooked for 4 hours The combo served with coconut yellow rice, stirfry noodles, and a seasoned hard boiled egg . Definitely savory and satisfying

Mini Potato Balls: Crispy on the outside, soft and fluffy inside , Serve served with sweet chili sauce. Great as a side or snack.

Everything tasted homemade . The portions were generous, the service was friendly, and the food came out hot and fresh. Tuti’s is the first and only Indonesian spot I’ve found in the Tampa Bay area and it’s truly a gem!

Located on the corner of Linebaugh and Gunn Highway, the setup is super convenient, a food truck with covered picnic-style seating and plenty of parking. Whether you’re grabbing lunch or dinner, it’s an easy, relaxing spot to enjoy authentic Indonesian comfort food. Can’t wait to come back and try more!

Finally!! Indonesian food in Tampa! The service is incredible, they’re really warm and welcoming. I love that this food truck is clean and has a tent & chair to sit down & eat. As of for the food, Tuti puts her heart on the food. We ordered beef rendang combo, curry chicken and bakso kuah. They are all SO GOOD. Feels like home. Bakso kuah (indonesian pho) is a perfect hearty meal with clear beef broth & meatballs, it’s my favorite of all— especially to eat it during rainy weather. The portion is fulfilling as well!! If you’re in town and want to try Indonesian food or just hungry, come visit them!

Absolutely delicious! This food truck is run by a super sweet Indonesian lady, and you can taste the authenticity. The menu is small (which I love) because everything is fresh. I tried the bakso kuah and the rendang wrap — both were light, flavorful, and perfect.

So excited to have an Indonesian place to eat! Tuti is so friendly and her food was absolutely delicious! Had the Satay with Coconut Rice and the Nasi Goreng. Food was fresh, hot and tasted fantastic! Brought back a lot of memories of my Mama and Oma’s cooking. Looking forward to coming back soon.

My mom and I loved the food here. It is SO delicious!!!!! The nasi goreng reminds me of my Oma’s homemade nasi goreng. This Indonesian restaurant is one of the best on our travels. Thank you for your kind hospitality and amazing food! Hope to be back someday. – Dora and Joanna

Excellent gourmet Indonesian food.
This is a food truck, not a restaurant mind you. But you don’t need a restaurant to have a good meal.
It’s Asian food, but better.
Super tasty!
It’s a great location near a gas station, where you can get your favorite drink,if boba tea isn’t your thing.
The prices are reasonable for this type of food.
I don’t think you can even find Indonesian food anywhere in Tampa that I’m aware of.
They have a very nice sitting area with benches under a canvas canopy.
The atmosphere is super nice!
They even had KARAOKE there. It was fun to watch people sing out in the open. The sound system was really good and the KJs were nice too.
Tuti was a sweet heart, and the owner Tanya was very nice as well. They had a good crew working hard, making the customers happy.
It was their grand opening, so it was a little crowded, but not too bad.
Nighttime was so comfortable and pleasant out there.
Would I recommend Tutis Kitchen? Most definitely.
Give it a try, if you’re passing by this location on gun highway.

My family and I have had the pleasure of eating at Tuti’s many times since their opening and have not been disappointed with the food or service!… Both are Amazing! Tuti is the BEST and her cooking is top notch! My 6 & 8 year olds also enjoy the mi noodles with chicken along with the Boba teas. Great place, great service and always great food! We have met many families here traveling from near and as far as Gainesville! Give it a try you won’t be disappointed!
