Tusseys casual grill was solid. Vibes were more small town diner which was a nice switch up being from a small town it was nice to see. Definitely some regulars in there chatting with staff. Staff was very friendly and quick. It wasn’t a super busy Monday night when I went. I went during Omaha restaurants week so they had a special menu. I started with the bang bang shrimp tacos. They were solid had nice sized fried to perfection in them with a good bang bang sauce. I went with the beef and noodles which was a ton of food but the flavor left something to be desired. Gravy just didn’t have that richness to it I expected it to have. Was a tad disappointed. But the apple pie with ice cream was fantastic and would be back for just that. All in all a good experience but outside the pie not sure anything would bring me back.

After leaving Omaha we decided to have lunch. We stopped at Tusseys casual grill.
We did see that it did have a good rating on google maps so we tried it. It didn’t disappoint. Nothing extravagant or posh but the food was great. We had a Baja chicken sandwich and a Smokey bbq and bacon burger on brioche bun. Side of fries and a salad with balsamic vinaigrette. It was great. Highly recommend the grill and Michelle our waitress was fantastic. Great Midwest restaurant.

Had a very nice time last night. The servers are very courteous, smiling and nice. The food is great. The place is well kept and clean, background music is upbeat but not deafening. We will be back.

My mother and I for the first time in years were on our own for Easter. We looked for reservations pretty much last minute and saw that they had an Easter brunch. This is only 10 minutes from my mom’s so we went ahead and got a reservation. The food was awesome. We were seated right away at our reserved time. Waitress and bus boy were over immediately to get drink orders and to tell us about the buffet. There was ham with some delicious brown sauce on it and the best scalp potatoes I’ve had in a restaurant for a long time. The salad and charcuterie and pastry table was stocked with so many options. You could also get breakfast items and they pretty much had anything you wanted and all of it was well cooked and delicious. Everything was served hot and constantly being refilled by the staff. They had lots of employees and all of them knew what they were doing. Probably one of the most enjoyable brunch places And an excellent last-minute choice for us.

My husband and I ate here for the first time after seeing the menu online and reading reviews. None of the appetizers really looked great, so we started with nice salads. I had the baby back ribs, which were delicious. My husband had a salmon dish which he enjoyed. Our server was great, really nice woman. The place seems a little down and out though. It could use a bit of a refresh.

Tusseys was a nice little surprise for me. I had never heard of it at all. I originally went to the area to eat at The Cabin. However, when I entered The Cabin, I stood there near the entrance for 5 minutes without being acknowledged at all, but as there was no sign saying whether to seat yourself or wait to be seated, I was unsure of how to proceed. There was not any empty tables that were cleaned. So after no one even saying hello or welcome I left. Instead I walked across the parking lot and I am so glad I did!!!

Tusseys was a great little casual find. They obviously have a good following where they are. I was sat very quickly. Their menu was a good mix of things. I skipped an appetizer and got the house salad and the apple bourbon glazed pork chop. The salad was good with a thick ranch that I think was probably house made and with cranberries added in which was a nice sweet addition.

The pork chop was thick and the glaze was sweet in all the right ways. I wish I had asked for extra.

The garlic mashed potatoes were a disappointment though. The garlic flavor was sadly lacking. A little salt and pepper helped, but only a little.

I got their caramel apple crisp with vanilla ice cream to go and it was spectacular.

I will definitely be returning to this place now that I know about it!!

I can’t believe I have never heard of this place before. What a awesome restaurant/bar. The wait staff is nice and friendly. My order was quick and hot which I love. Of course I ordered waffle, sausage and a side of eggs. Everything was cooked to perfection. Highly recommend. A big thank you to the owners and staff for their hard work. It shows. Triple plus rating.
