Wow. Best Mediterranean in Portland. The humus and bread are A MUST. The humus has some citrus flavor bursting , super tasty, and paired with the flat bread – you know you’re in for a treat.
We ordered the Beef Kebab and the Chicken Dish – both were just jaw dropping and bursting with flavor. I didn’t know Mediterranean could taste this good.
Not only did the beef kebab have an incredible “sauce” on it – it was cooked to perfection. We were ordered a few because they were so good.
The Chicken Dish (forgetting the name) was …. Special. Again, cooked to absolute perfection. The Honey glaze coating was delicious.
We had some beers and a gin based cocktail. The cocktail was great and made with care.
The staff were super friendly and funny. They were prompt and the food came really quick. We’re gonna be coming back.

We took a group of 16 people here for dinner on a Saturday to celebrate my wife’s birthday. The reservations experience was responsive and professional. The staff worked with us to manage our time constraints (we had tickets for a show) and the dietary needs of a guest.
The evening of our dinner was lovely. Gary, the GM was incredibly friendly and helpful in getting us settled into the private event space. Our lead server, Camron, was knowledgeable and professional… the pacing of the meal was perfect and the food was outstanding. I was surprised by the salads, which restaurants too often treat as an afterthought. At Tusk, the salads were given full consideration and absolutely shined due to thoughtful pairings of differently flavored greens with unique house made dressings. Just yum.
This is not to say that the main proteins were at all outshone… the beef kafta skewers with crispy quinoa and the albacore tuna were delectable!
I’m happy to give a five star review on the strength of our experience this weekend and look forward to returning to explore the menu further 🙂

Tusk delivers on every front. The service was genuinely excellent—friendly, attentive, and perfectly paced. The drinks were an absolute 10/10, creative and beautifully balanced.
The food? Outstanding. The falafel stole the show—bright green inside from plenty of fresh parsley, perfectly crispy on the outside, and incredibly flavorful. It instantly reminded me of the legendary falafel from Mamoun’s in New York, which is high praise.

Stopped by Tusk for dinner to satisfy cravings for mediterranean fare. The space and atmosphere were very nice, perfect for dining. The food was just okay with its ups and down. Highlight was probably the chicken skewer; cooked nicely and very juicy. Lowlights was the salad that drenched in dressing and overly salty.
Something I found bizarre was that the hummus does not come with any bread. You have to order it separately and of course pay extra. If you order the hummus ($12) alone you’re expected to eat it with your spoon.

Delicious falafel . Mediterranean food such falafel ,labneh Hummus usually presented with pita bread but not at Tusk bread is a la carte .
A new trend in Portland a 20% service charge is automatically added as part of the bill instead of tip .

Beautiful, calm aesthetic and fun dishes/small plates and cocktails. We did the tasting menu and it was great to try things we might not have ordered otherwise. Our favorites were the salad with tahini dressing and the panna cotta for dessert!

We had dinner at Tusk tonight for our daughter’s 35th birthday. There were 4 adults and twin two year olds in our party. Our server Thom was so great. Really patient, helpful and kind. We had the family style dinner with beef kafta. The food was amazing! Everything was super fresh and the depth of flavors were incredible. The chef sent our French fries for the twins and even sent out chocolate pudding for them which was lovely and unexpected. Everyone on the Tusk team were so attentive and welcoming. We highly recommend Tusk and will definitely go back.

Greeted by extremely friendly staff and taken care of for the evening by Cameron, who was one of the best and coolest servers ive had in a long time.
We ordered about 10 different items off the menu, all of them insanely fresh and tasty.
The beef kafta skewer was mind blowing- if u order a bunch of items save this one for last.
