Way better then the Italian restaurant that used to be in this location. I’m from Chicago so I know what good Italian food is. Great little Italian place for this area. Food was excellent. Sauce with seafood dish was excellent. Canoli was good, not a game of the syrup on it but still good. Tiramisu was on par with some of the best I’ve had in Chicago. Brought us free garlic bread sticks with sauce, they mixed well with the white wine marinara sauce in my seafood dish better though. It’s not the old place people. Please go check it out and keep the doors open. Only other changes to the place I would make to be on par with some traditional Italian spots in Chicago (which they may be in the process of, I don’t know) is 1. Cozy the place up a little more, not such an open booth floor plan, lower lighting. 2. Warm, fresh baked bread, French or Italian served with soft butter and bottles of olive oil with Italian seasoning in it on every table to dip your bread in. Bruschetta was really good, could have been better if the bread it came on was half the size and had fresh baby mozzarella on it. Still really good, just cut the bread in half myself. Not complaining, just offering suggestions. Food was great, we will definitely be back and recommending to all we know.

This restaurant is one of the best places to enjoy Italian food. Fresh ingredients and spices are artfully prepared and served In a pleasant atmosphere. The prices are more than reasonable and service is prompt, but not overly intrusive. We were a party of five without reservations and we’re greated warmly and served, per our instructions, in a leisurely manner. From appetizers to desert the individual meals were outstanding. If you live or work on the Fort Knox area and haven’t tried this establishment yet, your missing out.

My husband and I ate at Tuscany for the first time and it was a wonderful experience. The service was great. The waitress was very prompt and kept us with fresh bread and drinks. The food tasted great and the portions were more than enough. We even had plenty to take home for lunch the next day.

The only reason I didn’t give them five stars is because of the portion sizes. The food was far better than olive garden. The service was way better, because olive garden is always packed to the rafters. The only problem with Tuscany was that I left still a little hungry. But I’m a decent size feller. Lol. The portions were quite a bit smaller than olive garden. Overall a wonderful place to eat.

She n I was looking for a new place to eat. She found this place and had good reviews and we decided why not try it. When we arrived at around 7pm. There was not a single customer there. Which concerned me. The shrimp scampi fettuccine was VERY bland and not good at all. I swear I think it was old school chicken noodle soup with shrimp and garlic seasoning with the chicken removed.. she thought the same thing as I .. We were both hungry when we left. The waitress was very nice and helpful but 2-3 other employees were loud joking around and telling stories, which was very annoying and rude/disrespectful.. they were in plain site in the dining area.. the place did look nice inside tho. We will not go back unfortunately

Nice, clean older restaurant. Our server was not so attentive. My husband’s spaghetti had square cheese. The dishes were frozen and warmed up. Gave 2 because of cleanliness. Food was lacking flavor. Drinks were flat.

With a great many culinary experiences in this area, one really needs to recalibrate expectations. However Tuscany Italian was a pleasant surprise. The service was prompt, the pizza was the best you’ll find in the area (and very good by all standards), and prices are excellent. Food temperatures were great – hot, and well prepared. I had the fettuccine Alfredo which, sadly, was unremarkable and bland though well composed. Don’t be afraid of garlic, salt, and pepper in the kitchen guys. This is a solid spot for lunch as it is quick and tasty!

It really depends on how many people you show up with. If there’s more than 6, they get overwhelmed. It’ll take forever to get drinks and appetizers. They will forget to put an order in or get it wrong. The best idea is to go with three or four people. You’ll get your food and better service. The food is good. No complaints and we’ve never had a server with a tude. It’s a good date night place.
