Tucked away gem for atmosphere, but the mains missed the mark.
We visited Tuscany Cafe Bistro for lunch on a rainy Saturday. The ambience is lovely—it has a warm, cozy, tucked-away feeling with low lighting, small tables, and charming chalkboard menus. Our server was excellent and got us seated and started very quickly.
The highlights were definitely the soups. We had the Mushroom Soup and the Broccoli Cheddar, both of which were perfect for the weather. The mushroom soup specifically had an incredible umami flavor; I’d honestly go back just for a bowl of that.
Unfortunately, the main courses were a major letdown. The Fettuccine Bernadette was creamy but lacked salt entirely, making the whole dish a disappointment. The Spicy Chicken Panini was also underwhelming—it lacked seasoning and the peppers could have used more time on the grill.
Between the lackluster mains and the difficult parking, we likely won’t be back, despite the great soup and cozy vibes.

The Tuscany Bistro located just North of NorthPoint Mall is a great place for lunch. It’s located in the midst of a residential living area. Each meal is cooked to order. There is a decent wine list. Serving sizes are medium to small. Deserts are varied and usually very good. The sandwich menu is extensive. Also, there is a limited but varied list of entrees. I recommend Tuscany Bistro.

We love the food at Tuscany Cate. They have great sandwiches and salads. The servers are very friendly, albeit slow, but I think that’s just to give it a laid back bistro vibe. Only two complaints…they charge $4.10 per fountain drink and $4.10 for each refill. That’s RIDICULOUS. We all know soda doesn’t cost that much. Also, they tack on an additional fee for using a credit card to pay, so bring cash unless you want that too.

The cutest bistro! Food and service were great. Loved sitting on the patio after a long walk with my dog. She approves of the veggie omelet.

It is a cute restaurant with nice food and absolutely wonderful service. We all enjoyed our food, including my maple glazed salmon, though I did get teased a bit about the movie Elf.

As a bonus, the area around the restaurant is a great place to take a walk.

Hidden, cozy, Riviera cafe with broad range of sandwiches, dishes, and desserts…we were invited here for a business meeting and found ourselves in this wonderful Euro restaurant off by itself in a condo/office park. While there were many Italian pasta dishes, there were also BBQ and burgers items as well. The food was well crafted and presented with friendly service. I got the impression that many patrons were locals, and our lunch was soon crowded. Outdoor seating resembled a colorful street in a Mediterranean city.

Tons of fresh and tasty options. Cook is well versed. Cute spot but can get a little tight inside when busy. Found ourselves waiting on the waiter most of the time. Recommend going

It’s such a beautiful neighborhood, and this charming little restaurant fits in perfectly. I didn’t get a good look at the inside. Instead, I opted to eat outside in the patio area.
I had the beef, brie, and caramelized onion Panini, and It was so da*n good.
The waitress was top-notch. The was the perfect combination of being there when you needed her yet not hovering or making you feel rushed.
I definitely plan on going back.

Wonderful café with good food options and helpful service. Was impressed with the cleanliness, especially during COVID-19. The breakfast options were good but would like to come during summer to try the lunch menu out on the patio.

Delicious food. Lots of GF options. Cozy. Welcoming. Parking can be a bit of a challenge—free parking a slower walk away , but worth it for the charm.
