We sat outside and were forgotten about…..
After considering leaving we went in and got someone’s attention. Soon we had drinks and menus.
I have to say I’m glad we stayed! The deep fried shrimp were huge and I’ve never had the kind of batter that they used. It reminded me of KFC Extra Crispy. Very tasty.

Really enjoyed eating here at the Turtles Restaurant. I actually ate here twice while here in Siesta Key and was impressed both times. I really liked the stuffed shrimp, I’d never had anything like it before. The second time I had the fish tacos with blackened grouper. I have to say that was my favorite. I also had a Key Lime Colada. I enjoyed it so much I had to have two. Lastly I really liked the location by the bay and the views from the patio.

We chose Turtles for the views on the water and they do not disappoint! We were quickly seated out on the upper deck to enjoy the views of the bay. We started with the shrimp cocktail which was 4 very good sized shrimp, YUM! My entree was the shrimp scampi and hubby enjoyed the full rack of ribs. He’s a rib chef at home and these ribs were delicious. My shrimp scampi was delicious as well, sauce was spot on. Our waitress was very cheerful and attentive.

The food was cooked perfectly. The chicken was tender and delicious. The prices are reasonable and the waterfront view is amazing with plenty of seating available both indoor and outdoor.
Our server Samuel was amazing, so shout out to him. We live 2 hours away, and the drive is worth it. We will keep coming back.

This is a great spot. Been here a few times. Had a nice server, prompt service and great food. Finish up at the beach and stop for some lunch or dinner.
*UPDATE* Here I am again in Sarasota and I went here again. This time I had the Chicken Alfredo. It was fantastic. Great service as always. I’ll stop again. Maybe the steak.

My husband and I had lunch at Turtle’s Restaurant during our stay in Siesta Key. It was a beautiful day, so we were able to enjoy outdoor seating with a view of the water. The food was great; I got tortilla soup and my husband loved the quesadilla (said it’s one of the best he has ever had!). The service was great and we would definitely return to dine here again!

My first time here it was during the off-season. Staff was well aware of the regulars and who they were did a great job I set the bar and the service was great. It’s clear they have a lot of the locals in the area because of their location it’s worth going down the road a little bit. I had the seafood and shrimp casserole their home fried potatoes had a great seasoning and the vegetables squash and zucchini and green beans were cooked great it’s really tough to keep squash and zucchini from overcooking it did a great job.
