Can’t say enough good things about this shop. Finding good coffee in Wildwood has been nearly impossible until now. If you’re looking for really high quality specialty coffee, this is the spot. The breakfast sandwiches are just the right amount of everything. The donuts and maritozzo are exceptional and a big hit with my toddler. Very family friendly and the owners and staff are lovely and so hospitable. They also have a great selection of retail items that you can’t find everywhere. Will be back anytime we’re in Wildwood!

LOVE that there is such a great coffee shop in the Crest! Turtle Gut has great iced lattes, donuts and a bangin’ breakfast sandwich. Interior is light and airy and across from Sunset Lake, which makes the view impeccable. They’re also doing pop up dinners this summer with different chefs from different restaurants throughout the region. ✨☕️

We had the best brunch here this morning! The breakfast sandwich was by far the best we’ve had in Wildwood in several years. The avocado tartine was fantastic, especially for the price, and we loved the parfait. We had a cortado and a latte, also great. We tried one of the pastries – delicious and not too sweet. They have a great selection of items for sale in addition to the food. The folks running the place were extremely nice – they’re currently training staff and will open for extended hours soon. We sat outside to eat, overlooking the lake. Perfect. We’ll be back! Like, we will probably go again tomorrow!

We can’t say enough good things about Turtle Gut. The coffee is excellent. The food is excellent. Every one of the pop-up events are a must. The best thing about Turtle Gut? Eva and Joe who always make you feel like you’re walking into their home rather than into a coffee shop. These two have created a space for the community unlike any other. We practically moved to Wildwood because of Turtle Gut. Can’t wait to see what they do next!

I’ve been in the neighborhood for over 25 years and this place is such a value add. The owners have done such a fantastic job cultivating a warm yet fresh environment. They are always adding to the menu using local crops that are in season- guaranteeing the best flavors and quality. The coffee is smooth and delicious. And the staff is very kind and welcoming. They also consistently partner with local restaurants and chefs to provide the community with opportunities to experience different cuisines, which is something the neighborhood has never had before. Love TG!

Love, love, love Turtle Gut and all Joe and Eva offer, from their delicious lattes to their Cioppino Nights. You cannot beat the location of this adorable cafe in the Crest, nor the experience of dining while the sun sets across the bay. It’s so fun to support our local businesses and watch them continue to evolve. If you haven’t made your way to Turtle Gut, which references the historic Turtle Gut Inlet that once made up this area of the Crest, you need to get there ASAP for coffee, ice cream or maritozzi.

10/10 experience – probably the best coffee selection I’ve seen at the shore. The peach donut made me feel some type of way. The hoagie was the perfect beach lunch. Huge fan my new favorite spot in the Crest

During a recent trip to Wildwood, our friends (who are locals) strongly recommended we try Turtle Gut. On our first visit, we had coffee, a breakfast sandwich and a breakfast burrito – all were exceptional. In fact, it was so good that we went two more times while in town – for Sunset Supper (omg, that view + that food? Heaven.) and then for donuts and Maritozzi (both are must-trys).

Incredible coffee and high quality, small bites in a gorgeous setting directly across from sunset lake. Comfortable seating indoors or outside with gracious owners that were happy to answer our many questions. They even taught us about the Battle of Turtle Gut (hence the interesting name). We had Cortado lattes and Melon & Prosciutto Di Parma Salad with Saba drizzle and smoked Maldon sea salt. Ummm YUM! It’s a small family shop so make sure to check the hours or drive by to see if they’re open first. Then STOP IN and treat yo’ self!! You’ll be happy you did.
