Awesome breakfast place! I love walking here and grabbing coffee, quiche, or my fav is the huevos rancheros. I dream about it! (I recommend adding chorizo) It’s such a community/neighborhood feel to it and it will be one of the most missed places if I were ever to move away. Such an awesome open space! Yes parking can be tough but who cares it’s the cities.

This little neighborhood café is such a lovely spot. It’s just around the corner, so I often stop by for a quick coffee or a quiet break during the day. The atmosphere is relaxed, the baristas are welcoming, and everything feels simple and unpretentious in the best way. It’s the kind of place that makes the neighborhood feel more like home

Turtle bread is the cutest place ever. My mom used to take me here as a kid, and it’s still great. This place doesn’t feel like a restaurant that is too upscale or too buffet-like, it feels welcoming. The food was very comforting, and atmosphere is wonderful. The pastries are good, me and my mom got the pecan cinnamon roll, and for breakfast we got the asparagus frittata and the breakfast burrito. Very delicious. I will say, we went pretty early in the morning, and I’m glad we did because it started getting really busy and loud in the restaurant around 10am, though expected for a Saturday. Overall, If you’re strolling through town and you want a place to eat a good breakfast while waking up, Id suggest this place to go on weekdays or early mornings.

Was in this area and wanted to try breakfast somewhere new. Unfortunately there was no parking available within 2 blocks. The roads were not plowed well at all and the few street parking spots available i wouldnt trust that someone wouldn’t hit my vehicle because its 2 directional traffic on roads hardly wide enough for it to be a one way. Anyways, maybe ill try again in the spring but the rating i give is because their business is in a location with no parking which lead to me not trying their food.

Awesome quiche, varies daily, get it before it runs out. Nice balance of healthy foods and monster cookies… Usually busy but ample seating- bright space: can get a bit loud due to tile and walls.

If you’re looking for freshly baked, tasty bread, then this is the right place to be. They also make pies, cupcakes, soup, sandwiches, pastries, and even juice. You can sit down and have a terrific lunch here, with excellent service. Or just grab your favorite bread and ask the service to slice it for you, and you’ll be on your way in no time.

Big open energy. Casual corner cafe and bakery. Lovely local spot with amazing bread, soups and a few good breakfast options.
My move is to grab a wedge of cheese at the first display by the door (usually Cotswold), order a soup no matter what (usually tomato or potato based, but they’re all good) and if I’m hungry – get the turtle breakfast (which is a huge portion and will definitely fill you up by itself but is so tasty and fun to mix with the soup and cheese).
Side note: if you ever see the mushroom lovers pasta salad in the deli display it’s amazing and you should get it.
They also keep all their condiments, butters, jams, sauces, salt, pepper, water and coffee and Togo containers out in the dining area so you can get as much or as little as you want without having to wait for or bother anyone.
It’s important to know that soups are usually ready around 11:00am and that the chocolate loaf is only available on the weekends.

I’ve been a customer for years and went there today for a bowl of chicken wild rice soup.
I’ve taken the time to write a review because the soup was terrible and it had more flour in it than wild rice.
So sad to see an established neighborhood place go downhill

Good place but seemed a bit over-priced to me. There was even a 3% “usage charge” – maybe that’s normal in Minne?
I’ve never seen a muffin so loaded with seeds – it was good.
