MY FAVORITE FOOD TO EAT IN VALDEZ!!!
Pork belly tacos and Tofu bowl; oh my goodness. Right across from the local dive bar, order your food – walk across the street and secure your drink and table. They give you a buzzer so you can walk back over and get your food and eat it at the bar. The Family that runs the food truck is traditional with their food, and are kind people. I will always recommend this place. ONLY OPEN DURING THE SUMMER!!! Don’t miss out. P.S the cabbage with sauce is so freakin good!!!!

The atmosphere and the service were nothing short of amazing, but the food… ✨THE FOOD✨ It was absolutely phenomenal. I have traveled all over Alaska, and I’ve lived in Vegas, where we had some of the best cuisine in the world, and this place found a place at the very top of my list, and in my heart.
The lumpia was the best I’ve ever had and the crispy chicken bao buns were pure magic.
I frequent Valdez for work, and I can only hope they will stay open a little bit longer this season, so I can try some of their other dishes.

Excellent flavors, not much seating but that was fine. We were doing takeaway anyway. I would recommend it. I had the Bao buns and spring rolls. Others had tofu and tacos. All great.

We had the chance to eat a delicious lunch from Turo Turo while we were in Valdez this week. Lady Ann and her family have a wonderful array of authentic Filipino food. Everything was yummy but the chicken adobo was really extra special and flavorful. The lumpia were great and larger than my husband’s relatives usually make and the pancit I loved better than his mom’s recipe but that’s because Turo Turo uses thicker noodles than the typical thin vermicelli. Stop by and visit them. Such a great unexpected meal.

This is the best food in this part of Alaska. The special of the day was sinigang —a delicious, authentic tamarind and pork belly soup that will warm your soul. Hubby had crispy chicken buns and they were so tasty. Order anything on the menu and be happy. The lady and her cute baby made us feel so welcome.
