First time having their pizza, definitely will be coming back for more! The margarita pizza is amazing, the breading of the crust is crunchy and satisfying. The atmosphere is very welcoming and the plates are unique as paddles as a great touch! 100% recommend to pizza enjoyers, as it’s exactly what you’d want from this style of pizza!

This is the most underrated pizza place in CT by far- 10/10 every single time! Everything is absolutely phenomenal and they put an extra spin on everything. The garlic knot sliders are a game changer and now every other pizza place sucks. Red and white pizza both amazing and the wings are huge and smothered in sauce. Absolutely top tier nothing beats it- and I complain a lot.

We heard Turnpike Pizza was getting good reviews after a change in ownership, so we decided to visit! Definitely a take-out business, but they still plated everything very nicely for us. I had never visited under the old ownership, but you can tell they recently remodeled and it was nice in there. The owner is so sweet, and it felt good to support their new endeavor. If I lived closer, I would definitely order takeout from here often! We’ve already been back a second time, and they’re doing a great job of adding new and creative items to the menu. Everything is delicious!

So, so, SO many great things to say about Turnpike Pizza. The owners are amazing, and always serving some traditional and innovative Italian food with a smile.
Noting that they serve both traditional and new creations is important, because if you’re looking to try something new, I’m sure they have it. Their menu is wide – inclusive of salads, sandwiches, pizza of course, pasta, pierogies, nachos and don’t even get me started on the desserts whatever you are craving, they are able to satisfy.
So happy that Turnpike pizza is a staple in our neighborhood.

I Called in an order over the phone on a busy Saturday night. Staff was friendly and polite. We ordered a large napoleon pizza. It was delicious. After taxes and fees it came to about 30$. Pizza was yummy and I would order here again.

I along with 8 or 9 people were packed inside this restaurant like sardines waiting to pick up our orders. A worker spent over 30 minutes ignoring everyone and not asking people what their orders are so they can pick it up and leave. I understand you guys were busy but that was completely rude and unprofessional to have people waiting that long to pick up an order that was ready!!! Next time your restaurant is packed with a bunch of customers who are there to pick up their order, how’s about communicating with them by asking them what their names are and what did they order so you can get everyone out as fast as possible!!!! It’s also a safety hazard keeping everyone packed inside in such a small place. Do better next time!

My dad wanted me to share his wonderful experience he had with “Turnpike pizza” and the family that runs it;
“I noticed i had a flat tire and turned into Turnpike pizza to use there phone. One of the guys working let me use his phone to call AAA, which the guy who’s phone it was, was very patient as I was on the phone for 30 minutes trying to resolve the issue with AAA. After 30 mints of AAA not showing up, the very nice gentleman asked his sons to help put on my spare tire. I tried to give them some money for helping me but they wouldn’t expect it. Never have I experienced someone going out of there way to help so much and not wanting anything in return. Im amazed with acts of kindness this family showed to a stranger; not even a costumer.
Thank you so much for helping my dad, I pray this family/business gets blessed beyond there wildest dreams.

We walked into good vibes, a great atmosphere. Staff were polite and very knowledgeable about their menu. We loved our choice of a small Napoleon Pizza. The flavor profile of the pizza omg, sweet and spicy deliciousness. I can’t get enough of Mike’s Hot Honey. Thank you we’ll be back ☺️
