I’ve been coming to this place since they opened and it’s fantastic. They offer a nice variety of delicious menu items, my favorite being the summer chicken bowl. The mildly spicey Thai peanut sauce is light and decadent. The employees are friendly and welcoming and they are now offering a cozy igloo experience on their back deck overlooking a nice body of water. All in all this is a five star experience. Oh! The truffle tots are a grand slam! Definitely grab an order.

Turnpike Market is a VIBE. The food was absolutely amazing—fresh, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. Every bite hit. The drinks were just as good, especially the espresso martini smooth, rich, and top tier. Great atmosphere, great service, and an overall awesome experience. This place does not miss. Highly recommend and definitely coming back.

We enjoyed dinner in one of their igloos, and it was a fantastic experience. Even though it was only 15 degrees that night, the igloo was perfectly warm and cozy. The food and service were excellent, and everything exceeded our expectations. I ordered the steak tip dinner and a cranberry breeze cocktail made as a mocktail—both were absolutely delicious. Highly recommend. 10/10!

Phenomenal atmosphere, amazing location, all of this only overshadowed by the incredibly friendly and enthusiastic staff. Very attentive, kind, and loving with our children. They were exceptionally helpful navigating the menu, and made sure to always ask if we needed anything. They have made of our family returning customers for sure.
The tots and rosemary fries are amazing btw.
And I must recommend the Caramel Apple Whiskey!

I would definitely advise against the igloo dinning on a super cold day/night, which is all the weather we seem to have lately. If you do plan on going, dress very very warm maybe even bring a blanket. It was very cold, with one small radiant space heater, not sufficient at all. There was no music playing, which was odd. The experience was interesting and cool but definitely not worth the cold. They also do not offer any hot beverages. How can you offer a cold outdoor experience without anything hot to drink?
The pizza was very good, but gets cold pretty quickly as you can imagine. We ate our food very quickly so the meal would not get cold and basically rushed out due to the cold .The fries were pipping hot and crispy and the salad was very good. The steak tips were over cocked, fatty, and the portion was very small. I would definitely recommend the pizza , fries & salad maybe on a warmer day. The only in service bathroom was in a very sketchy back employee area with no hot water in the sink, which did not help the cold plight. All in all the experience could definitely have been improved greatly and maybe a bit more warning on how cold it actually is in those igloos as it was super uncomfortable for a dining experience.
I would like to return in the warmer months.

We had a wonderful igloo dining experience at Turnpike Market. The service was excellent, the food was amazing, and the cocktails were perfectly crafted. The cozy igloo setup made it a truly memorable experience—definitely even better if you come dressed in cozy winter clothes. Highly recommend!

I’m a devoted fan of the restaurant and decided to try the igloo dining. It was a bit chilly because the space heater is not very strong. We dressed warmly and didn’t have a problem. We didn’t take our coats off. Plan ahead for this. The servers have to manage the igloo doors with food and drink and are amazing in their gracefulness. It was a lovely atmosphere and very magical.
I ordered the new surf and turf burger which features lobster on the burger. This is not on the printed menus but you can ask for it. This is my third time ordering a lobster meal of some sort at this restaurant. They unfortunately always overcook the lobster. They need to cook it separately and for less time to keep it from drying out. If they can manage this, all will be perfect. The cost of the meal is good, and we never have a bad experience even if not quite perfect.

We stopped in at Turnpike Market and were immediately welcomed with friendly, attentive service. The atmosphere was casual and relaxed, and with the option to sit outside overlooking Nutting Lake, it’s a great spot to slow down and enjoy the view while you eat.
I ordered the Reuben with fries and couldn’t have been happier. The meat was tender and easy to bite into—no pulling the entire slice out with one bite—and the flavor was spot on. The fries were equally impressive, perfectly crispy on the outside and soft and fluffy on the inside.
On the flip side, my wife went for the spicy tuna bowl, and while it looked fresh, she found it lacking in flavor. My daughter had the buffalo chicken wrap and felt the same—it just didn’t have the punch she expected.
It seems the menu may be hit or miss depending on the dish, so it might be best to stick with the favorites like the Reuben. Despite the mixed reviews from my family, we’d still come back. My meal was excellent, the service was warm, and the location makes it a great casual dining spot, especially if you can grab a table outside by the lake.

Compared to the neighborhood the food is good. They are also quick. Overall however the food is slightly above average. A lot of beverage options and wines available. Located near a beautiful bridge. No indoor seating as of now. Didn’t like the stuffed mushrooms

First time dining here in the igloo, it was nice and cozy but it does get a bit cold still. The food was ok but didn’t realize they charge extra for pasta dishes. The food was luked warm. The drinks were good. When we got the check I didn’t pay attention that they charged for 20% gratuity already and the waiter was there with the machine to charge my card and didn’t even notify me about it until I got home and so I tipped extra. Just to give everyone else a heads up to look at the receipt before deciding to tip extra.
