Starting my day rather late at the little silver, NJ location was a peaceful way to begin my day. I ordered the Big Easy Benny. The cooked peppers and onions along with the sausage atop the corn bread give a unique smoky flavor to the carefully cooked real poached eggs. Other restaurants use a poacher iron but here at TP they’re done using a pot of boiling water the old fashioned way. I know because I cook them myself. Anthony my server was excellent. The atmosphere today was quiet and calm. Exactly what I hoped it would be!

Came in for breakfast. Anthony was my server and he was great. He was Knowledgeable and accommodated my dietary needs. He checked in from time to time and I will request him when I return. The food was fresh and prepared well and was nicely presented.

I hate to leave bad reviews but we have never had an issue till today. It wasn’t busy but the food took forever. My daughter had to take her food Togo. When they brought out the food he told me that he would bring the syrup. I had to ask him 2 times because he forgot. The pancakes were already cold. Never did we get more water. I get it!It happens. I also ordered pancakes to go but we were forgotten we had gotten our check and waited an extra 25 min. The food was good. Just sad todays service isn’t like it has been in the past.

Cute place. The French press coffee was great. Loved the breakfast choices. It won’t open for breakfast and lunch. Love the food combinations. A lot of thought went into the menu.

Friendly but short staff. I returned the shrimp and grits because the shrimps were undercooked…they simply needed to grill the shrimps 30 seconds more….it came back exactly the same way…RAW. The waiter was so busy he did not even had the time to come check if it was done right…i ate one shrimp and spat it out…the raw taste still in my mouth. I had to eat the grits around and left all the shrimp.

Meghan when above and beyond for us we came here as a family of five with a 6-month-old and a 4-year-old and she couldn’t have been better. Thank you so much for the amazing service the food was incredible and we had so much fun what a beautiful and fun spot will definitely be there again can’t wait to see you again Meghan!

Very disappointed with our experience today. When we arrived, our server was not very friendly and we felt extremely rushed. The ice tea we were served was not drinkable and was sent back but we were still charged for it. Additionally, the silverware was extremely dirty. When we asked for new forks and knives, we were forgotten about for several minutes. When the food was served almost all of the dishes were cold and the quality of food was poor. Asked for a cheese and bacon omelette with just a slice of cheese thrown on top.

We stopped here for lunch yesterday and got in line to wait to be seated at a table. The woman seating diners was also handing out take out orders as well. People with take out orders were cutting in front of us that were waiting for tables as if they had priority making another separate line to the right. The hostess kept getting and ringing up these takeout orders while ignoring us. We all stood in line for 15 minutes and were still not seated and still had a couple in front of us. The restaurant was empty and had many open tables. When we asked if we weren’t picking up a take out order do we need to wait to be seated? She said yes she would do the seating and clearly saw all of us standing there and delivered another take out order then said nothing to us as she turned her back to us and disappeared into the back of the restaurant. All she had to do was look at us and say she would be right back to seat us before she left. We had enough of being ignored and left immediately. They need a better system and a better hostess to seat diners than this one. We will just go to the Long Branch or Ocean locations even though we live in Little Silver.
