Very quick service with food served hot and fast! The pork sausage patty was the largest I’ve seen and the 2 biscuits and gravy were served on a platter. The biscuits are massive, light and fluffy. The gravy is excellent and the sausage patty is huge.

Came in around 11 for breakfast, got seated pretty quickly. Server was great and kept up on refills and checked in quite bit to make sure everything was good. I got the 1/2 Order B&G and a pancake on the side with coffee & water. Boyfriend got the Reuben with fries and water. He didn’t care much for the sandwich, said meat was pretty greasy but fries were good. I liked the biscuit and gravy and the sausage was pretty good as well. Only downside on my meal was the pancake was under done. Server was great about though and had it remade for me to go. Overall I think we will be back, I want to try the French toast and my boyfriend wants to try an omelet next time around. Place was clean and we had a good time.

I was sick so I ordered breakfast on the app for my husband to pick up. Great app, so user friendly! The food was really good! Yes, I had to add salt and pepper but that was not considered bland as others call it, I’m sure that is making sure customers who can’t have those items are safe. Besides, how hard is it to add your own salt and pepper? Biscuits were amazing! (Complement straight from my husband!) Gravy is my pet peeve and it was delish! Bacon and chopped steak cooked just the way we ordered and no rubber eggs!! Y’all are amazing! We didn’t eat inside but husband said staff was friendly and atmosphere homey. Prices were awesome for the generous servings. We’ll be going back. Eager to try some dinner! Thank you for bringing an amazing and affordable home cook restaurant to Carterville!

Food was outstanding. Best biscuits and gravy…biscuits were fluffy and fresh and the the gravy was perfect. Hash browns were cube shaped , tender and crunchy on the outside, not oily. Bacon was flavorful and crunchy. Coffee was excellent too.
Waitress was friendly and professional.

They are a new restaurant. They have kinks to work out. The food is good. The service is slow. They run out of food specials early. I have been here three times. Dinner Friday was the worst. They ran out of catfish early. Lunch was bad. Service was very slow and the waitress was Mrs. (Lack of) Personality. Breakfast was good but the place was almost empty. If they work out the problems quickly they will survive. Try them you will like the food.
Update – They have greatly improved the service and availability of food items. Everything has been awesome the last several times we have been to Turners. Service is much better than before. The food is always very good. Prices are reasonable. Turners is a place I have no problem recommending for a meal. They have a separate meeting area that can be reserved for various events.

Solid restaurant that is both quick and delicious. I ordered their pork chop special for the day, as pictured, and my mom ordered their 2 egg breakfast deal. We were both pleasantly surprised with how quick the food came after ordering. Reasonably priced too. Looking forward to my next visit already.

Had great friendly staff, clean well kept. The food spot on had fish and chips large portions, fish had nice light flavor and old person bland and not overly spicy and the hush puppies were great. Nice view of golf course. Only knock is the ungodly trash bins as you walk up to restaurant not impressed with that

I catch up with an amazing friend over breakfast at this place every other week. The chats are always fantastic – hard to put into words for a Google Review! The service is consistently top-notch, and the food is delicious. We jokingly refer to the Haystack as the “haymaker” because it’s so generous in portion size, but it won’t actually knock anyone out. The servers here have fantastic senses of humor.

Saturday evening we went for dinner about 6. I ordered the meat loaf. I am use to a moist flavorful serving. The meat loaf was cut in rectangles. They were very dark and looked dry. I was able to cut the meat with a fork but it was DRY and over baked. I took one bite and it was worse than awful. I sent it back. I have never done that before.
