Im not one to post but considering finally a night off from work I planned to go out. The wings I received were supposed to be three of each flavor to try out but came out all the same. A friend and I were the only people in there maybe another person. We didnt get the wings until we finished our beer glass WITH taking our time. Bartender was on point with service, maybe it was the communication on there end? We ended up having to get it to go. Not too sure how the wings normally come come but very minimal sauce on them aswell.

First timer here at Turnbull’s Tavern, in Uptown Whittier. I have to say nice, pleasant atmosphere, super chill place.
We sat at the bar area and have to say, it did have some crumbs from, I guess the previous customers. Bar tender was quick to clean that up when we asked if she would wipe that. Super nice lady, no issues.
Food was delicious, sorry I can’t remember the names but I’ll post pictures. from me .
I met the owner Ernie, totally down to earth kinda guy, very nice!!

Came down again with my son and we had a pretty nice evening. DJ was super fun . We were served with a smile! I’ll be coming back again…

Fun place to hang out and have drinks. Slightly loud with the music, but that’s what it was all about. There is an outside patio to chill with large TVs. There is a security person at the entrance to prevent solicitors. Plenty of beer choices. Order the chips and salsa to go with the drinks. Recommended for a evening out.

Supposed to be a Notre Dame football watch there, and yes, it was on the big screen, but at half time, they switched it to the Dodgers game. Should have finished with ND first, then change it. Won’t go back, to bad, cause the food was good. Place smells like vomit. Needs to clean that up.

Loved this place! Very intimate and welcoming. I ordered 3 sliders since I could not decide what burger to get. The wings were awesome. Beer selection was okay I was able to work with what they offer. Definitely coming back.

Went on a date night with my husband. We made the mistake of going on karaoke night lol. Entertainment but you cant have a conversation at all. The food was good and service too. Highly recommend the brussel srpouts.

Drove from Rancho Cucamonga see the band Steady 45’s. Got there a little early 6:30PM. We ordered two Trunbulls Burgers one with Mac and cheese one with fresh cut fries. God Lord Almighty these were some of the best burgers that we have ever had. Perfectly cooked and the Mac and Cheese was delicious.The beers were ice cold and our waiter was on point. He checked on us everytime he passed our table. Met one of the owners named Ernie and he was very kind and welcoming and took the time out to make sure that everything was alright.The band Steady 45’s rocked the house till midnight. Food, Beers and Service was fantastic and we totally recommend this fine establishment to everyone. We happily give Turnbull’s a Giant five star rating.
