If you thought Turkey was only for Thanksgiving, you haven’t tried the delicacies that this beautiful culture brings to this amazing restaurant!
Let me break down my experience..
-Atmosphere-
When you walk into this place you can just tell that they put a lot into the decor and design. The place is beautiful, clean, spacious, and really creates a whole vibe that prepares you to enjoy a meal from an exotic foreign land.
-Service-
This restaurant might have the best service in Dearborn, maybe even all of Metro Detroit (it’s close!) and I could ask for better. From the Host to the servers, bussers, food runners, and everyone in between, it’s basically being waited on hand and foot. This restaurant makes absolutely certain that you need for nothing, and treats you like absolute royalty.
-Food-
Honestly, I have been to most restaurants in Dearborn and this food is something different! The flavors, textures, and presentations are truly something special, and everything we had was a treat! I kind of want to order something from them right now just thinking about it.
All in all, for Mediterranean restaurants, this place gets a 4.5/5 flame rating (shown as 5 stars as there is no 4.5 option)
I definitely recommend and will be back again before leaving Michigan!

Hussein was incredibly warm and welcoming at Turkish Village in Michigan, taking the time to explain the food, the culture, and how to pair dishes thoughtfully. The decor is beautiful and makes the whole experience feel special and authentic. It is a great place for vegetarians, with many, many flavorful vegetarian options to choose from. My favorites were the lentil soup with hot fresh bread, and the coffee with dessert, which is truly out of this world. The baklava with pistachio was super delicious and goes really well with Turkish coffee. The baklavas and Turkish delights come in many flavors, they make fresh kanafi, and this place is simply a must try.

We always order the large mixed grill tray for $90, which usually includes 4 lahme, 4 chicken, and shawarma.
However, this time during Ramadan, we received a much smaller tray for the same $90. It only had 1 lahme, 2 kebabs, 1 chicken, and a very small amount of shawarma. This is completely unacceptable for the price.
When we called the restaurant, they confirmed that this is now the price. On top of that, the food did not taste fresh.
I rarely leave negative reviews, you can check my profile, but this experience was very disappointing. Please don’t take advantage of customers during Ramadan by reducing portions while keeping the same high price. $90 is far too much for what we received.

This is the best Turkish food I’ve had since I was in Istanbul. Everything I had was first rate. The service was fantastic and the waitress stayed on top of things. The tea hit the spot on a cold day too. I will definitely be back. You will not leave hungry or disappointed here.

Got to meet the owner and speak about some of their offerings. Fantastic experience of all the flavors. I asked for cheese rolls and I was expecting the more traditional Turkish style but they seemed to bring me these more like mozzarella sticks – still tasty but not what I wanted – other than that small hiccup everything else was excellent. I tried a unique kunefe and considered getting baklava as well but was incredibly full. Highly recommend this for one and for all.

First time trying Turkish food and certainly won’t be the last. I don’t remember what I ordered nor could I even pronounce it if I did, but it had lamb and a creamy tomato sauce and was one of the most delicious things I had ever eaten. We also had hummus with spicy sausage and there was fresh bread with a variety of sauces to try. Hats off to the kitchen and service staff. My girlfriend and I look forward to returning.

Very nice dining experience. Our waiter, Fiaz, brought over a bread/dipping sauce starter plate. One of the sauces, Beet Sultan was unbelievably good and worth the trip to this restaurant to try it on it’s own merit! I had the chicken kebabs and they were very good. I would highly recommend the mango drink as it was quite tasty. It was very pleasant and peaceful and our server was absolutely delightful. Thank you.

I ordered Adana Kebab, Iskender Kebab, Ezme, and French fries. The food was very good — fresh, flavorful, and nicely presented. The service was fast and excellent; the staff were friendly and attentive. Prices are a bit high, but overall it was a great experience and definitely worth trying.

Wonderful places with great atmosphere. Surprisingly not crowded on Tuesday noon. Chose the “classic” food, it is good but not meeting my expectations (probably too high from the reviews I saw). But overall it is a good experience. Will come back definitely.
