It was my first time here, i did not know what to expect. It was valentine’s day, we had made a reservation.
The menu clearly describes the dishes as well as indicating vg, gf, etc… The portions were generous as well as quite tasty. The pricing was quite reasonable!
I think, dont quote me, the name of what I ordered was tavuk adana, a chicken meat dish. Mmmmmm it was so good! The accompanying sides were tasty too. Idk what the mixed greens had on them but it was kinda sweet and savory? It was different to me so I do not have the right words to describe it. I liked it very much. (Hahaha im not a foodie, it could have been a fancy salt for all i know.)
I got a Turkish black tea. I loved that! Very strong, like tea espresso.
The staff were all very lovely as was the environment. I liked the wood tables, the art on the walls, the open kitchen style, and they had put real candles out. It was valentine’s day idk if they always do real candles.
I also tried Turkish Delight, that was not my cup of tea. But it was served as was the tea, in a beautiful set.
10/10 would go back again!

If I could give this restaurant 10 stars, I would. They are INCREDIBLE!! From the time we stepped through the door to the moment we left, we were treated so kindly by everyone here. The food was incredible- highly recommend the chicken dishes! Our server, Dusan, was so kind and helpful. I will be here again and again and again and again and (you get the gist).

What a hidden gem in Anchorage! This lovely establishment is a clean updated and festive place to enjoy some delicious traditional turkish food. Everything we had at our table was so fresh and flavorful. Service was excellent and you have got try the apple tea. Can’t wait to take back more friends.

Went in not particularly hungry but I was wanting to try this place for a while now. I was hoping to try a few new foods because I have never eaten this cuisine before but also planning to take most of it home.
Well. . . I genuinely ate every single bite. I think this was one of the most delicious food I have ever tried. And I definitely plan to come back.

The servers were very attentive and everything you could ask for. I have never tried this type of food before, so I asked what he would recommend and he very kindly suggested some items and they were perfect.
I did notice that the menu offered a lot of insight into potential dietary restrictions if anybody has those including gluten-free , vegetarian and so forth. as well as potential allergy restrictions.

First time eating dolma warm (it was great) and the portion sizes are perfect. Meat was extremely tender and onions were delicious.

Just had the most incredible dinner here. The atmosphere is simple yet lovely. Everything we ordered was perfectly flavorful. We had the Mevsim Salata-seasonal salad, döner and Hünkar Begendi-sultans delight, and rice pudding. If i had to choose a favorite, it would be the sultans delight. The roasted eggplant base was fire. Highly recommend!

I have been in Alaska for a week now and this is the best food I’ve had since I’ve come here. Everything was so delicious. Everything was homemade including the ice cream. The place is very clean. The owner Ms. Zeynep was very warm and welcoming. You can see and feel that she is doing her job with love. Thank you.

Absolutely incredible food! The flavors were delicious, the portions were generous, and the prices were more than reasonable for the quality. This is officially my new favorite restaurant in Anchorage. Highly recommend—and I’ll be coming back every time I visit!

Would recommend to anyone visiting Anchorage or locals looking for something different. The waitstaff were extremely kind and helpful in recommending dishes. There was something on the menu for everyone. The food was very quick to come out and the portions were big enough for 2 meals. The restaurant was not very loud despite being very busy.
