Food is very good. Service is not bad. Ambience does not match price. There was no AC on a warm day: felt stuffy and hot. The first half hour I was there, small children (seem to be of either the owner or employee) were running around screaming. Not quite commensurate with the $75/person (including tip) price.

First time going to this place in years, definitely under new ownership. Food was amazing, the internal atmosphere was completely revamped, lost some of the authentic decor of the past, but is a lovely romantic setting instead. Food is even better than I remember it being. I got beef & lamb gyro sandwich, girl got a chicken gyro sandwich. I won slightly, they were both 4/5 at least. Well stuffed sandwiches, 11$/12$. I saw all the high reviews though it was gonna be good but they served cold dry hard chicken not much flavor in it either. My cousins sandwich was super super dry with not enough salt, the best thing here was the bread, feta spread and berry desert. Honestly everything here you can make at home better

We live locally and visit Apo at Turkish Cuisine with some frequency. His restaurant is one of our standards because it’s THAT GOOD. I think the babaganoush is among the best I’ve ever had. This trip we enjoyed the iskender kebab, and Apo’s chicken and lamb kebabs are tender and beautifully seasoned.
Apo home bakes the baklava, which is as perfect as it gets.
This is an amazing lunch or dinner spot. Low key, reasonably priced and of the highest quality. Highly recommend.
