We called an hour before we went to the Turkey Roost Restaurant and asked if they could feed 41 people in one hour. They said yes! What a wonderful restaurant! We were fed so much delicious food, it was amazing. There was a very short wait time. The servers were super friendly and very good at helping. Turkey Roost is definitely the place to go.

Busy, busy on a Sunday afternoon, walked in found an open table and had our turkey plates within 5 minutes! All tasted good! Super reasonable prices and plate sizes for different appetites. If you’re craving a traditional turkey dinner here you go!

Good for the locals and wasn’t a horrible experience but didn’t stand out a bunch. There wasn’t a huge selection of food but what we did get was decent. It was a quick breakfast stop on our way home from the U.P. we luckily beat most traffic. The service was pretty good but like I said we did get kind of lucky it wasn’t busy yet.

Very FAST service. Food is tasty and priced well. Not a fan of canned corn or things served in plastic containers but this is the place to stop if you need a quick, home like turkey dinner.

This was my first visit to the restaurant and I ordered a senior portion of the traditional turkey meal. The food was very tasty and a good size portion. It is truly a turkey focused restaurant with the exception of a few beef choices, so don’t expect a varied menu. The food has a home-cooked taste and is very reasonably priced. Our server had no issues with making substitutions for some members of our party.

Was on a ladies trip to see Northern Lights in U.P. In spring 2022. We went 30 miles out of our way to eat here. Great food! Friendly and good! Especially if you like classic turkey dinner with all the fixings. We did get some interesting stares from the locals for our accents (GA, SC, NC)

Small town family dining with generations of history. Highlights include the best from scratch biscuits you can find, savory, moist turkey, and a large size strawberry shortcake. If you miss any of these on your visit, it’s because you’re there for breakfast or a slice of their huge selection of homemade pies. Food came out lightning fast even though the place was packed.
