I was looking for a good, local spot that had some good ratings and amazing looking food. I came across this place and the food looked incredible. I have never left a review before and I had a taste and couldn’t resist. I had the Mixed Gyro Plate, Taboulli, Pickles, and a side of the Tzatziki. OHHHH MY GOD SO GOOD!!! It came with some sort of a pita (forgive my ignorance I don’t know what it’s called!!) The meat was perfectly cooked, pickles are incredible, taboulli immacculate, everything was so good! I ordered through uber eats and walked to pick it up. As I was walking my order was ready within 10 minutes! I was amazed. I walked in, the two gentleman at the front were very kind and got me my bag with a smile. I will 100% be recommending this place to everyone I know!

The bread is absolutely out of this world! The portion sizes are huge — and that’s coming from an Arkansan! I ordered the chicken gyro and couldn’t even finish it. Everything was delicious, and you definitely get your money’s worth. I highly recommend this restaurant!

This was one of the best places we ate in NYC! The bread they brought out for us was some of the best I’ve ever had. We had chicken gyros and adana kebabs, fries and pickles. Portions were big and prices were really good for the area! If you are thinking about going, do it!!

If you have any doubts… JUST GO! My husband and I both got the mixed gyro sandwich and when we first got it we were expecting it to be too much. My husband didn’t think I would finish it. It was the PERFECT balance of bread, meat and fresh elements. We were full without feeling overly stuffed. 1000% recommend!

After some intense online research to find a Mediterranean restaurant near Times Square that catered to locals rather than tourists, we hit upon Turco Mediterranean Grill, which was a quick walk from our hotel and within walking distance of the theatre we were headed to later that evening. It turned out to be a great pick—a hole-in-the-wall that served up some of the best authentic Turkish food we’ve had. I started with the lentil soup, which had a subtle but tasty flavor and velvety consistency. Following that, we had two appetizers: the dolma had a mint-dominant flavor that complimented the consistency of these rice-stuffed grape leaves, which was more tender than dolma I’ve had before; and the quinoa salad, featuring a fluffy quinoa with various chunks of vegetable mixed in—very refreshing. For a main course I had the falafel plate—a bounteous dish of five savory falafel balls with zesty dollops of tahini sauce on top and bordering a bed of colorful greens bursting with a flavorful vinegar dressing, fresh slices of tomato, some deliciously flavored whole grain rice and equally flavorful hummus, and a delectably spicy ezme sauce on the side. I’m kicking myself for not having ordered dessert—we will have to return for another meal. Turco’s was a great find—generous portions of quality food at a very reasonable price, and a convenient location within walking distance of most Broadway theaters.

Oh my god! The beat gyro sandwiches I had there, we ordered mix gyro and chicken gyro sandwiche and it was tasting heaven with sauces. The quality and quantity of food was top notch and their service is exceptional. It is a must recommended place to go if you are in NY

I had a meal at the restaurant with my friend. It’s a small and clean place. You have the chance to see how all the dishes are prepared. I can say it’s very clean. We specifically came for the chicken gyro. It was no different from the ones we had in Turkey. The portions were quite good. The prices were very reasonable. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
