Highly recommend doing a reservation, they seated us even though we were a little early. The food was FANTASTIC, TERRIFIC, GREAT! Definitely recommend the chicken and waffles, the biscuits (we got 2 orders), the fried pickles, and lowkey anything on the menu lol. The service was also pretty great. Our server was super sweet and attentive. The ambiance is bright, airy, and it gives country vibes.

Traveling through lovely Knoxville, Tennessee we stopped in for lunch on a Monday, there was no wait. Tupelo chicken was amazing. Perfect cathead biscuits with a cream gravy topped with bacon and a perfectly prepared fried chicken thigh. I asked for no hot honey sauce and it was scrumptious. Such great service, great experience. Husband got the massive traditional breakfast. It was so good he ate himself silly.

If you’re trying to go any time during the weekend, be sure to make a reservation as the wait will likely be at least two hours, if you can get a table at all. The service my group received was phenomenal. Our server was very fun and attentive. The wait for food and drinks wasn’t too long despite the place being very busy. I had a ginger turmeric drink and loved it. I’d return just to grab another. I generally enjoy the chicken and waffles. The seasoning in the breading is wonderful and darker meat in the chicken is a pleasant change of pace from what tends to be served elsewhere. The prices are slightly on the higher end but close to typical for Market Square. Overall, Tupelo Honey is definitely worth a visit.

We enjoyed this little gem so much! The atmosphere is so relaxing and welcoming with a touch of excitement. The service is impeccable, and the food was beyond delicious! We enjoyed the fried green tomato appetizer and each chose the shrimp and grits for our entree with a side of collard greens and a side of the Chipotle and parmesean broccoli. Make sure you put this one on your list and stop to enjoy the live music in the square after for a perfect finish.

This was my favorite restaurant we tried in Knoxville! Great atmosphere and decor. We sat in the bar area and the bartender/server was friendly and attentive! Our drinks were delicious and the food came out quick and was SO yummy. The crispy brussels and fried cauliflower were my favorite. I can’t wait to come back!

Though I was full after one half of my meal, I literally didn’t want to take leftovers home because the chicken & waffles were so good! The sriracha honey sauce mixed with syrup was the perfect combination for a flavorful twist on the meal.

This place is very nice and the service was great. I had grits and a roast beef poboy. I know the menu says New Orleans style, which is not accurate but still tastes very good. I was a little disappointed that a large mimosa came in what I consider a normal size glass.

Service was great. They were super busy when I went, but still got us our food quick and made us feel like we were the only customers. Highly recommend! Pimento Grilled Cheese was definitely the best thing!

Great service for a nice sit down meal with my husband and friends to enjoy time in Knoxville. While the Mac & Cheese was good, the real star of the show for me was the Shrimp & Grits. Biscuits also amazing, the whole menu is well-balanced in richness and flavor.
