The cashier LaLa provided REMARKABLE SERVICE, from start to finish. She is very knowledgeable about the food, and recommended other items and informed us of the specials. LaLa was very friendly and patient while we decided what we wanted. She answered all of our questions and made certain we had everything we order. She went above & beyond. Great experience at the University location. The food was accurate, fresh & tasty! Good prices.

Years ago I went to Tunis on the Westside but the food was not very good so I decided to never eat at Tunis again. Tonight my daughter said that she loved Tunis on University Blvd so I said that I will try them. My first encounter with Lala was Amazing! The food was Awesome. Fresh hot and delicious. Lala made our dining experience unforgettable because she has excellent customer service. LaLa needs to be cloned. No one like her! Kudos LaLa!

The owner tried to rip off my wife, 9.99 per crab cake for 3, rice and beans 13.99. I wanted to point out they order these pre-made with imagination crab meat. My wife stated she went thru the drive thru, because your door was locked. whoever was working the drive thru needs to be held accountable, for price gauging.
Real crab cakes cost alot of money, trust me.

Rowes sells the same crab cakes for 1.50, rice and beans 3.99., on blanding Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32244, at least they charge you what their really worth.
This business has been cheating people for years, NO STARS…. I’ve read, please take down the review it could affect our business, what about the customer’s that buy your crap food. This should get your attention, you don’t even care about the customer’s period, instead of your nasty reputation.

Lala was great! She was friendly and welcoming. She also gave great advice when it came to what getting the most for my money. The restaurant smelt great and clean. Food was also amazing no complaints! Will definitely come back again.

Awesome food (even though fried) is very tasty. (My opinion) I always ask for no pixie powder though because it over powers the taste of of the seafood I get. I enjoy the plater and the amount given for the price.

Softdrinks are good.

I must’ve driven past this place 500 times and never stopped. Then one day, for whatever reason, I did. It’s delicious food, large portions, great service and great prices! We like fried seafood and rarely fry anything at home, so if we want seafood, we usually eat out. We’re happy we’ve discovered Tunis!

Last time I came here, I asked for hot sauce on my wings, and they didn’t put any at all. Gave them another chance today—ordered 10 wings and fries—and this time , barely any sauce. Are they saving it or did tariffs go up or something? Either way, it’s a waste of money. Two times in a row now. Not coming back.
