We were visiting from out of town and this was one of the few places to eat that was open on a Sunday evening. The food was really good (and a lot of it), the service was excellent, and the decor and atmosphere quirky and fun. We had a great time. Thank you!

Arrived late on a Sun. evening after a 12 hour drive. Only two other couples seated. I ordered the Sunday special: BBQ Back Ribs. They were truly “fall of the bone” and were delicious. Salad and sides were large and also prepared well. Topped off with delicious “shot” of dessert. Not to mention a great draft beer to wash it down. Wish I didn’t have to drive 750 miles to get here or I would be a regular.

We were returning from an ice fishing trip looking for a place to eat. We stumbled upon Tumbleweeds and boy am I glad we did. My friend and I both had prime rib and my son had the lobster. My medium rare prime rib was prepared perfectly, the potatoes were well seasoned and flavorful. I even loved the green beans. The lobster was large and tasted amazing. My son would not stop raving about it. This will become a regular stop for us.

So the restaurant is under new ownership, very similar menu I noticed the steak was a higher grade of meat and quite a long list of options. Tried the 14 oz sirloin and was very good. Didn’t need any steak sauce or anything because the flavoring was very good. Actually have to say that was probably the best meal I have had there. And they said they are now open on Monday nights.

Pretty decent for Evanston. I was only here for a funeral reception so we didn’t eat off the menu, it was catered. The food was decent and the atmosphere good. A little on the dim side but it was clean. The location was good if you are just stopping off the highway and don’t want to do fast food…right next to the Pilot on the Bear River exit.

Waitress was very friendly but mildly incompetent as she couldn’t remember who ordered what. The food was good and slightly above average. The building is an amazing log cabin with western decor. I was hopefull when I sat down that I was in for a special evening when I saw the beautiful napkin ring around the cloth napkin. But alas they served my butter in individual plastic that I had to open myself and sides were served in plastic dixie cups. Loved the free dessert served in a shot glass at the end of the meal and my dining partners had a nice slice of cheese cake for less than $2 which made me feel like coming back.

Very good service, food and atmosphere!! Good portions and it came to table in record time! My husband devoured the prime rib! Good house wine and great little “shot” dessert!! Definitely coming back!
